Well located, small

Posted May 2, 2016
Pros: Location
Cons: Change TV and offer more channels
Location: Very good location
The experience overall was fine, but you would expect more on a 4 star hotel in Europe. Room to small, lamp over the bed too low (hit my head TWICE really hard), TV too small and very FEW chanels to watch.

Cozy hotel in excellent location for tourism

Posted Apr 27, 2016
The hotel is perfectly located in a very lively area of Madrid, full of bars and restaurants close to the main tourist attractions. The common areas of the hotel are nicely decorated, there is a beautiful terrace with bar and the overall sensation is of coziness. The room was quite small and the water mixer was not working well, but the price of the room was very good. Overall it is a suggested solution for tourists that plan to visit Madrid at an affordable price and looking for a strategic location for their visit.

Great part of the city, walking distance to all major sights and restaurants/tapa bars on Plaza Santa Ana. The staff was very friendly and gave us a complimentary room upgrade. Great breakfast.

If you need more space, ask and pay for an upgradw

Posted Mar 20, 2016
Pros: Friendly staff, nice neighborhood
Location: Lots of great restaurants nearby, Las Letras is my favorite part of Madrid.
Read many negative reviews about this property and all were because of small space and dark rooms. if you are looking for a bargain, that's what you get. I got a great deal too, but then asked and paid the nominal fee for the next category up and it was spacious, well lit and very comfortable.

Nice Boutique like Hotel

Double rooms are a tad on the small side. Walls could do with some sound proofing as I managed to hear every word of the ladies phone conversation next door whilst trying to sleep.

Horrible Restaurant Staff Employees.

Posted Jul 30, 2015
Pros: Location, PERIOD.
Cons: The overall approach from staff
Location: I do give kudos to location because surprisingly enough some of the best restaurants in Madrid were within walking distance from nearby hotel's plaza.
Well, to make it short and simple if you like another place that "hate americans" this would be your paradise. Now for the others ones that dont like that type of treatment please be advised that several restaurant staff were so bothered and upset each and every time that you asked them for something that I just ended up doing room service. I have traveled a lot and NOT the most sensitive guy at all but understand people that this is supposed to be a 4 star hotel NOT 2. Did you guys get it right NOT a 2 but a 4 star hotel Overall the service was HORRIBLE and I will NEVER EVER stay there again.
