Hotel stay

Was very nice. Had stayed here previously when it was a Microtel n was nice then. The upgrades n renovations are very nice. Hotel on outside is nice for area.

We stayed there before the renovation and it is a huge improvement. Everything is so clean and nice. Comfy beds and excellent breakfast. One of Maggie Valleys best in my opinion.

MISLEADING ADVERTISEMENT

Pros: nothing
Cons: website information and staff.
Location: plenty of shows and activites within a few miles.
information on expedia says pet friendly up to 20 lb. drove 3 hours one way to arrive with our little Yorkie to be told that they are not pet friendly. Person at desk very unfriendly. Yelled at us when we came in door with the little dog. We had to go to an older hotel to stay. The one we stayed at was nice but not the room we reserved and it did not have near the selection on the breakfast as the one that was reserved. I went and looked so not hearsay.

To say it was newly renovated it had a stale smell to it some doors was broken. The pool was pleasant at all. All in all kind of fly by night

clean inexpensive place to stay

Pros: Clean, Good Breakfast, Friendly staff and yes it was clean
Location: Our friends live close by so that was a plus. We ate at Butts on the Creek. They had really good BBQ and really bad parking.
The room was clean. The carpet and bedspread and curtains all looked new. The only complaint I had was we could HEAR the people in the next room. The room could have been more sound proof. The breakfast was really good, we had bacon, sausage, omlets, boiled eggs, cereal, muffins and cinnamon rollsand waffles. Good. The staff was really nice. We will stay here again.

Great Hotel, terrible policy

Pros: The rooms were clean and comfortable, and it's location was perfect for my plans.
Cons: Perhaps how they handled my situation, as cutting me out of the price of the room twice was shady and incredibly inconvenient.
Location: I went up with my brother to drive in the mountains, so I can speak for things to do, but the Blue Ridge Parkway nearby was the perfect drive.
The stay was fantastic as a whole. The place was clean and well kept, the rooms were stylish and had decent amenities for a one night stay, and the area it was in was fantastic. I couldn't recommend the city more. Unfortunately, this all came to a screeching halt when we went to pay. The room was reserved with a debit card to hold it until we got up there to check in. When we did, I wanted to pay the rate in cash, which I did. But later that night I got a call from my bank letting me know there was a charge on my account for a hotel far from my home and they wanted to be sure it was mine. While it was me, I had paid with cash so it turned out I was double charged for the room. When I went to ask for the cash back, they told me they couldn't do that and I would have to go to my bank and have the debit charge refunded, which may take up to 3 business days. All in all, I'd say that's incredibly annoying and inconvenient as it cut my stay in Maggie Valley short. I'm not certain I'll be going back a second time.

A great place for rest!

Pros: Everything!
Location: This is a great location for the Maggie Valley, Waynesville area, as well as jaunts over to Cherokee and the GSMNP!Good restaurants close by.
I had been to this location when it was of another chain. It was getting worse every year! NOW, it is a a Quality Inn with everything new! Beds are so comfortable, clean rooms, great staff! I went for some down time, and I got exactly that!
