Disappointed with the quality of the facililties. Pool heater and hottub were broken and not usable, despite advertisement of indoor pool. "Mountain view" room was facing road and parking lot. Not what we expected.

The rooms are very old, the first room I was in has a non working refrigerator and the second room had hair on the sheets. Didn’t look sanitary at all, but it was only for one night. The breakfast however was excellent!

The staff was nice and were new hires according to them and eventhough they spoke and somewhat comprehended English, there was misunderstandings. Before checking in i asked if the pool was open and if the kids could play in it, attendant said yes. The indoor pool is the only reason that I booked the 2 nights so the kids could enjoy their stay. Kids get dressed and go to the pool, nope, another guy tells them its under repair and the pool and spa aren't warm. Try to get refund and move to different hotel but attendant says he wasn't trained in that area and couldn't call anyone until the next day. So what can you do right? Next day we're told we would be refunded for 1 night to compensate for the issue so we decided thats fair enough and said we'd stay. An hr later attendant from previous night came to our door asking for our keys and if we're about ready to leave. We explained the situation again to him and thought it was resolved until today i get a notification that i was charged again for the night i already paid for. So i paid for 2 nights and checked out after 2 nights but paid for 3 nights thinking we would only be paying for 1 since there was issues.

I will start by saying that I did NOT stay the night. The pictures are very old so they hotel looks nothing like them. The indoor pool and hottub are not working which I the primary reason I booked. They also do not have breakfast as promised online. I told the woman at the front desk I wanted to cancel because there lied on their booking. She then charged my card for the full stay without my permission. When Expedia called on my behalf she told them that there wouldn’t be a manager there for another week and they would have to call back in a week. So unprofessional!

Horrible - DO NOT STAY HERE!
I booked 2 rooms for Saturday and Sunday night on MLK weekend 2024. First - the pictures are ALL very deceiving! The UNHEATED pool is indoor but very tiny and there is NO water in the hot tub. They told us that they do not do room service on the weekends (are you kidding!!). We also had a service animal and I had to show “my papers” to them before they bee grudgingly accept them and they were not happy to have them. (Our service animal is a 3 pound Yorkie) We also asked for towels as again, they do not service the rooms and it was an huge issue for them when we asked clean towels. The last morning I asked for 2 clean towels and I was told they only had one clean towel in the hotel… I can’t have 2. The general attitude, atmosphere of the hospitality staff was cold and openly RUDE to include rolling of the eyes and scoffing at any request. The worst 2 rooms in the entire hotel is what they gave us. The ONLY 2 rooms didn’t have a balcony nor did it look over the stream, we were put on the second floor (which they do not have an elevator) simply because we had a 3 pound service dog. The breakfast… they didn’t have milk for cereal- and I wouldn’t feed that breakfast to my service animal! And be careful when you turn in the heater because the electrical turn on switch, looked like it was based on a tik tok!(good enough) video! There’s NO way that was up to code!

Worst hotel i have ever stayed at. Asked for two days to get clean towels and were told they don’t have any. Boogers on the walls, fire alarm falling down, heavy mirror attached with one screw. Heated pool with no heat Snack bar with no snacks. Compare their advertising on Expedia with the ones posted on other reviews. Was told the manager and housekeeping were not going to be available till the next day after we checked out. , however when we decided that we could no longer stay in the hotel and left early, you could see their staff living on second floor. These people including whoever responds to their horrible reviews seem like complete thieves. I would wish this hotel experience on absolutely no one.

Everything was a lie when we booked. The hot tub inside was drained. Thats the whole reason we stayed. I found a dirty spoon beside my bed and asked for a coeaner room and was told there only work there amd couldn't help me. Also other than a stained dirty wash cloth, our room had no towels in our bathroom and when i asked for some, she told me.she didnt have any...i have pictures, and video of all of this. I asked for some return of my payment for the room and was denied that as well. Please get back to me about this or im going to post the videos and pictures i have on social media.

Staff was rude upon arrival. Was told to go away from the desk while the front desk attendant was on her earbuds. While waiting, another family came down to report the room they had received keys for, already had a family in it. They said the family they walked in on was also very upset. Then, when the she got to us, she told us their system was down and we would need to find an ATM and get cash. Seemed very odd all around.

We stayed for 2 nights. The manager on duty was a lady and she was very accommodating!! The ice machine didnt work, but if you ask the front office she glady got us some. The thing that was most upsetting was I thought with it having an indoor pool it would be heated but no it was cold, my daughter was disappointed. Our room was clean, the creek behind us was amazing!! Our room was creek side! Overall it was a pleasant stay. Not a frill place but quite and the lady working there was so nice to us!

Place seemed to be under repair and that happens. Nothing fancy priced appropriately for the condition. First room we were checked into was not yet cleaned and it was after check in time. We were quickly given another room. One bed had burn holes on the bed spread. Beds were comfortable and overall for one night this place served our needs. If we were to stay longer than a day we would stay elsewhere.

Do not stay at Maggie Valley Ramada by Wyndham.
Holes in the sheets on both beds, stain on one bedsheet. Black (mascara?) stain on washcloth. Fridge leaked and was set up so that it was hard to open. Mildew on the shower curtain, bath door jamb filthy in the corners, pipe under sink filthy and could be seen from toilet. Toaster oven was horribly filthy with burnt on food and stains in the window of the pull down door. Broken tiles in the doorway. Smell of the pool hot hard as I walked in the front door. Area around the water fountain in fitness room was disgustingly dirty, obviously not mopped or cleaned properly.I have photos of everything and am happy to share. The young lady at the front desk made excuses for everything which I showed her. She offered new sheets but did not offer a different clean room. I will not stay there again nor will I recommend it to others. (This would not let me add photos on my review even though there was a place for them)

Bathroom was dirty, molded shower curtain. It took hours to get it replaced inly with a slightly less molded shower curtain. Hair and dirt on floors in the corners. Husbands back was killing him from very hard uncomfortable bed. The breakfast scrambled eggs were the only good thing about the entire experience.

We checked in on Oct 25th. We were assigned to room 211. Before bedtime our toilet stopped up and we called the front desk to report. We were given a plunger to take care of the problem ourselves. Note I own rental houses and take care of the plumbing myself. The plunging didn’t work as we had to plunge each time we used the toilet the remainder of the night. We again called the desk to report the morning of the 26th. And were brought another plunger. When she was told we already had one she acted as if she didn’t understand so we showed her and then she said she would return. She returned and opened 210 for us to use the bathroom and told us to lock it when we were done. Use it and lock as if we wouldn’t have to use the bathroom the rest of the day and toilet still not fixed. We returned to the front desk to complain and we were told it would be fixed by 10 or we would be moved. At 11:00 we went to the desk to see what had been done as toilet still not fixed. We were told that the manager was on the way and to stop by the desk when we returned after our time away to see if it was fixed or we needed to move. When we returned we were told it was fixed. This was not the case. It did not work after 2 flushes and we had to interrupt our dinner to move rooms. On top of this, there was no ice the entire stay. The towels were collected in the morning to wash and not returned till end of day. The coffee machine was out of order. The shower curtain in 210 was moldy.

Check in was horrible. Rang bell at counter 6 times before anyone came out. There was no elevator and no warning that there wasn't one. Not a problem foe me but it was for my elderly mother. When my mom asked about an elevator the man on duty was very rude and sarcastic. None of the ice machines worked so you had to go to the front desk to get any ice. The room was comfortable and clean. The saving grace was that it was on the creek so there was a nice view from the balcony.

The name Ramada was expected to be a very nice hotel but this one is a disgrace to the Ramada name! The rooms are very outdated they've added some paint but the rooms have a bad odor, the first day when the toilet was flushed the handle broke it was made out of plastic it was 10:30 at night they had to remove one from a empty room to fix ours after over an hour later it was made out of plastic too so that is probably going to happen to someone else! The staff behind the desk very rude and hard to understand they can barely speak English, the only way to get ice was to ask them and they got it from behind the office and didn't want to give a bucket full asked for a bucket full before checking out and was told they didnt have any! Will never stay at this hotel again and will not recommend it to anyone!!

The room was dirty so I told the lady @ the desk she went and got somebody that was supposed to cleaned the room, but the room wasn’t cleaned ever and they didn’t seem to care what a joke for a hotel 😠

Room was poorly cleaned. We payed extra for a room with a large jet bathtub which was not cleaned properly. My husband went to the front desk and asked for some cleaning supplies (we were going to clean it) and the woman working the desk said that room had already been cleaned and refused to give us any cleaning supplies, even when we told her the tub was dirty and had hair in it. Will not stay here again!

Way cleaner than I expected! Looks like they are continuing to improve things. Although don’t expect a lot for breakfast at $85. Otherwise it worked.

This property needs major updating. I will begin in the lobby: picture on website shows refrigerated area with beverages and shelving area next to it with snacks, incidentals, etc. - nothing in beverage cooler and bare minimum of snacks. Young lady behind desk was unprofessional and her attire looked like she had just gotten out of bed - this was basically the way all the staff looked and it appeared that the only staff was her and 2 gentlemen that worked behind the desk and 1 that "cleaned" the rooms. Our beds were not made after we returned in the evening. The coffee machine did not work properly and on the last day of our stay, it was marked "out of order". We had to go to the desk for ice and they seemed "put out" when we asked for some, like they couldn't be bothered. The sheets were old and thin - no bedspread on the bed, just a sheet over a blanket, then a sheet under the blanket. The plug on the alarm clock was missing a prong. On the first night of our stay, there was no hot water for my shower - the next night we figured out that if you flushed the toilet and then tried to get hot water, the water would only be lukewarm - but if you did not flush, the water was hot. Don't know what that was all about!??!! The pool area is indoors and it looked dirty - so glad we had not planned to swim! The beds were comfortable, TV worked. Sliding glass door to the area outside our room was hard to push and caught at the bottom. This property needs some major work!!!
