nice stay

nice stay, walls thin could hear people on the other side of wall no coffee pot for morning coffee toilet in my room was so close to vanity I had to sit on toilet sideways weird .... expensive parking 67 dollars a day

Hotel is located in a pleasant neighborhood , only a couple of blocks to miracle mile . Hotel has old charm and the staff is very nice , friendly and informative .

Pros: the location.
Cons: The trim work in the room.
Location: Restoration Hardware baby!
the lobby was really fancy. overall for the location and price, the hotel is great. Please note this place is a restored building so the rooms are not super new.

It is old 2.5 star hotel,....NOT 4 STAR HOTEL.

Pros: This 4 star hotel did not impress me not at all.
Cons: The lightning in elevators.( soo dark). the vanity tops in bathroom. interior paintings,...beds.
Location: Location is not too bad, if you want to explore nearby downtown Chicago.
Was close to the place I have to conduct my business at this time. The room I have stayed was small and close to noise elevator. Vanity top in bathroom was cracked , plugged bathtub( water drains very slow).

Centrally located, beautiful ambience and interior

Pros: Location, service, ambience, design.
Cons: Loud music across public areas is overwhelming; something calmer would be welcome. Help with dietary requirements.
Location: A block away from the waterfront, a few minutes walk through Old Town, restaurants, shops etc.
My stay was work-related and I spent a great deal of time working from my room, which was lovely, spacious, well designed. No in-room coffee, which would have been nice. Room service is prompt, efficient and good. Not a lot of assistance with special dietary requirements but the food I had was excellent.

Good, but a little disappointing

Pros: The location was fantastic & the bed was nice. Rooms were clean.
Cons: Fix the leaking shower and add a kettle or coffee machine to these rooms.
We booked a king room for a week’s stay. Setting aside the fact that the hotel name changed from the time that we booked to when we actually were due to stay there and we werent contacted at all to advise us of this name change and rebranding, we arrived at the hotel with high expectations. The location of this hotel is great for exploring downtown Chicago, and is close to a whole heap of restaurants and attractions in walking distance. The staff were nice and pleasant, but the room itself was a little disappointing. The shower dripped constantly, the bathroom itself was extremely small and there was no kettle or anything for a morning coffee. No doubt to entice you to order room service, which would end up costing close to $12 for a single coffee after it was said and done. The rooms were clean, the king size bed was nice and comfortable and as a basic room everything was OK.
