Nice older hotel that met my needs

This hotel was older than I expected and as such, the stairs appeared old and the elevator was old-fashioned. However, I was pleasantly surprised by the size and cleanliness of my room. The floors are very nice and appear updated. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Quaint historic hotel

Friendly staff, nice location with views of Lake Michigan. A little challenging to find initially, but excellent value

Nice hotel in a good position

Nice classic hote right in the middle of the entertainment and shopping area of Chicago city. Great price point and very convenient. I recommend staying there.

Good value for the price. Bathroom could’ve been a little more updated and a little cleaner. Kind of like staying in my first apartment

Convenient location

Pros: Very nice and helpful staff. Excellent location
Cons: No
Location: walking distance to stores, restaurants and entertainments
We had a very good experience The hotel is an excellent location walking distant to good restaurants and stores. We live in Florida in November was kind of cold for us, the temperature in the hotel was very comfortable also the room and bed very clean

Great location - good value

Old apartment building converted to hotel. Comfort of a studio apartment 2 blocks being the John Hancock Bldg. Floor was buckling, I never figured out how to control heat (I opened the window). But all in all its a good value.

Older building but very nice

Very comfortable. Didn't realize they had a full kitchen. My dog was happy with it as well

A Hidden Gem !

Pros: Quiet, nice neighborhood.
Location: Near North Michigan Avenue and the Lakefront.
Found this hotel on Trip Advisor. Needed a clean, safe place to stay the night in Chicago. What a great find ! Very pleasant staff, quiet historic neighborhood, clean and comfortable room, and short walking distance to the Lake or North Michigan Avenue. Will stay here again the next time we're in Chicago.

TV didnt work. Half of an ironing board. Crud on floors. Spots on bed. Main light didn't work.
