Kinzie Hotel - great extras that make it a unique

Pros: Free drinks and snacks, breakfast in room and quality furnishings.
Cons: Would like the room cleaned earlier. A couple of times we left the hotel at 8.30 each morning and came back at 5.00 pm to find it was not clean.
Location: Close to start of Michigan Avenue and next door to a great bar.
Kinzie Hotel is really well located for a lot of the main streets and sights. They offer complimentary alcoholic drinks and canapés in their small bar of an evening. Tokens are issued on arrival and you use these for the free drinks and snacks. Great idea, informal setting. People travelling on their own were as comfortab As the couples and groups at using the service. Quirky buffet breakfast served each morning next to the lift on every floor. Tray provided in the room for you to load up and enjoy back in your room. Spacious rooms and quality furnishings. Would definitely recommend it.

Pros: The room and checkout procedure. Very quick

Nice hotel close to the sights!

Loved my stay at the Kinzie. Nice quiet room. Enjoyed the nightly drink and appetizers in the bar that were free. Only downside would be the view. It was directly into building that was pretty close.

Cons: breakfast
Location: good location
I would say the breakfast was the really weak point of the stay. boiled eggs were repulsively ahrd and pastries tasted like they were leftover from the day before. Also if you say you are starting at 7.have it set up 7

I am so sorry you had this experience. We typically always have breakfast out at exactly 7am but these couple of day we had a couple of difficulties that occurred that caused this. Nice hotel for the dogs!

Pros: Dog friendly
The hotel was so welcoming and accommodating to me and the pups! The staff were so nice, hotels were super clean, and super dog friendly hotel!

I really loved everything about the hotel the only bad experience I had was when I asked for my card to be pulled around front so I could retrieve an item, after my car was pulled out front and I retrieve the item I was after I stood out front with my girlfriend to smoke a cigarette and witnessed the valet break a very dangerous U-turn right in the middle of the busy streets in front of the hotel right before my very eyes in a brand new 2017 Ford fusion with less than 10,000 miles. This not only concerned me but it made me furious in fact, the only reason I didn't make a scene is because my girlfriend asked me not to say anything. Other than the lack of respect for somebody is $35,000 vehicle your hotel was wonderful.
