Just a place to sleep. Don't expect more.

Posted Oct 30, 2016
Pros: Price. That's about all they have to offer. Cheap place to sleep.
Cons: Look. This is simply an old property operated on a shoestring budget. It was a place to sleep. Nothing more. Don't expect more than that.

Bed bugs

Posted May 15, 2016
Bed bugs were definitely present and left us with over 20 bites. Stay weary of this place as it seems they do not clean.

On the graduation weekend the motel was full, we did not receive any complaint from any guests. After two days a lady called and said he had bedbugs in her room and demanded refund. We refunded her money to avoid any issues, the guest was under the influence of alcohol and left early in the morning. All the rooms were inspected and cleared for bedbugs and insects by the pest control company. Sorry for any incontinence caused during your stay

Pros: expedia
Just an on the road stay checked in at 11:00pm out at 6:am. Bed was very comfortable, shower head great for rinsing hair. Wouldn't stay a week but fine for passing through. Great for the cost,

Decent for price

Bed was a little too firm for my liking but the room was fairly clean. There was no noise from other guests. Discount motel so wasnt too bad for the price.

Basic, no bugs noted.

Overall it was satisfactory for a basic 'place to sleep.' No breakfast. No bugs. TV decent. If you don't need any frills, it will do.

Best feature is being close to eateries

Posted Jan 6, 2016
Pros: Being close to stores and restaurants, walking distance.
Cons: Could correct or notify of bed size!
Location: Pharmacy, Grocery Stores, Hardware Store, many Restaurants. Lake of the Woods is a nice attraction for fishing, hiking, renting canoes or paddle boats
Not bad for the price. Disappointed about the bed booked (King) and the bed in the room (Full/Standard) and soda machine was broken. Otherwise it was clean and not noisy. Staff was courteous/professional.

Pros: Price
Cons: The hotel is just very old and needs updating
Overall experience was ok, not great. The price was good and for just sleeping it was fine but would go elsewhere.

No frills not bad!

Posted Oct 27, 2015 on Hotels
The motel is no frills but not bad for the price. We were on a budget so it fit nicely. The bed was comfortable, the room was clean. The only thing that surprised me was it had no ice bucket, the front desk would get you ice on request but no external ice machine.
