Très belle hotel! Belle chambre, bien situé, parking sur place (payant) mais secure, employe très poli, serviable. Excellent déjeuner (payant). Petite terrasse dehors en arrière que j ai adoré. J aurais aimé rester plus longtemps. Coup de coeur avec cet hotel

Parking on the street but at night its free. The biggest thing is if Irena(Night concierge) recommends a place to eat do it the place she sent me to was amazing.

Highly recommend. Excellent location & decor - spacious, with balcony window out onto Main Street. Saumur is quiet & relaxing, with plenty to see. Staff were all superb! Parking on site & air con. Breakfast/service was efficient and of a very high standard. Only negative was 3 of 4 sockets on wall next to bed were not working (had to move coffee maker). 4.5 out of 5

Another great stay
We have stayed many times at this hotel. Staff are very friendly and the room is very comfortable with air conditioning and lots of choices for breakfast.

Lovely little hotel in the centre of Saumur, walking distance to great restaurants, Cathedral and Chateau. Front of house staff incredibly helpful and polite - a real pleasure to stay here, we especially appreciated the AC. You won’t get much a view from the room but rooms are spotless and showers hot. Good selection at breakfast - pasties, yoghurt, fruit, cheese and cold meat. Note the lift was not working when we visited.

I had a very pleasant stay here. The host who checked us in was very helpful and friendly and made recommendations for local bars. The rooms were very spacious and clean and comfortable the bathroom/shower had plenty of hot water and a towel heater.

Lovely hotel in the town centre and only a short walk to shops, restaurants and the château. The decor is wonderfully chic and rooms are spacious and clean. The proprietors are very welcoming and on hand to suggest places to visit, shop and it. First class.

A SUPERB ONE NIGHT VISIT

The property was uniquely decorated, and had everything needed to make this a convenient stay for us. Everything was within walking distance, and there were many good restaurants nearby. We chose not to have our breakfast at the hotel, although it was available. We felt it was quite pricey, and there were plenty of places you can get a croissant and a cup of coffee nearby. That's all we would have had, so there was no point in spending the money for a breakfast that was far more than we'd eat. The shower was nice, and welcome after a day of travel. Staff was professional and friendly. Parking was onsite, and behind a locked gate. We felt safe there, and would stay again. Recommended.

All true ;-) The only point I would dispute if I can is on the brekfast ;-)). 12€ is one of the least expensive in the Saumur 3* hotels in Saumur and the most complete with fresh croissant & baguettes from the pâtisserie La Duchesse Anne, Label Rouge eggs & bacon, fresh fruits from the market, charcuterie, fromage & all the French and breakfast stuff. A must not too miss for the hungry clients as you say ! It will be a pleasure to welcome you for your next stay in Saumur, Kind regards, Charlotte & François CHOVET ans the London Team !

A delightful hotel with friendly and helpful staff. Perfect for walking around Saumur close to shops restaurants and bars and the Christmas markets. Good accommodation and very comfy bed. Nice breakfast good coffee

One night wasn't enough!
Extremely warm welcome and super helpful staff who were able to accommodate an early arrival without any issue. Beautifully appointed room with a private terrace. Quirky hotel with a British theme running throughout. Tastefully and professionally presented. Just up from that main high street and onsite secure parking. Would definitely return.

Receptionist/ bartender Paulina a delightful and very helpful person and a real asset to hotel. Breakfast lady will provide anything you ask for: used to make fresh decaf coffee for me every morning. Good outside decking space to sit and sample the local wine. Didn't like the separate loo/ shower arrangement (loo was small) but other hotels we stayed in have also split these facilities so must be trend.

We had a really comfortable night at this hotel which was perfectly set up for families. The room was spacious, clean and suitably equipped and the team were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was great with a good variety and in a beautiful setting.

The hotel is clean, fresh and tidy but maintains its impressive history as well. Right in the centre of Saumur it is minutes away from place St Pierre and within easy striking distance of all the sites. Has parking but you need to book in advance. Staff were friendly and helpful, the breakfast looked very nice although we chose a long lie in over breakfast.

Really quite surprised- I didn't expect the hotel to be as good as it was based on price. It is situated right in the centre of Saumur, ticketed parking right outside and free onstreet parking within 100m. WIFI was a bit slow but that was the only negative. Friendly staff. Lovely public areas. Comfortable air conditioned room. No lift if that is important to you.

Great Hotel in Saumur Town Centre
Well situated hotel in the Saumur town centre, with limited, off-street parking available (for a small cost). You do need to pre-book the parking directly with the hotel to be sure of availability. The staff were all very helpful, friendly and spoke good english. Our room was on the first floor (there is no lift) and was at the back of the hotel - view only of the other buildings. It was comfortable, clean and decorated in clean and modern style. The loo was separate to the shower area, the latter being enclosed by louvre doors - clean, good sized shower. Wi-fi was good. The breakfast area was light and airy, modern and spacious - adjacent to the reception area. We didn't take breakfast so I can't comment on the food/service, but the breakfast selection looked fairly standard for a continental option. The hotel is in the town centre, and so is convenient to all of the shops and the many/ varied restaurants, bars, etc. We timed our visit to coincide with the wine festival, which was great - brilliant opportunity to sample and buy the wines of the region. We also met some great people. We would definitely recommend this hotel.

Excellent location, very clean and parking a real bonus. Two minor issues, water left in kettle and automatic light in toilet was like a search light coming on, when getting up in the night. A real waku up call.

Nice hotel perfectly situated for exploring Saumur
Perfectly clean and nice hotel, offers everything you need for a stay in Saumur and has extremely friendly and helpful staff. Our room was close the the Hall way / stairs, so quite loud in the morning when people were going to breakfast. The room was a bit dirty - I don’t think the floor was vacuum cleaned after the previous guests. Otherwise everything was great! Nothing too complain about.
