“The building is lovely and in keeping with the town. The staff are very friendly and helpful and serve you a plentyful breakfast, they even told us to make up some rolls for lunchtime. The bed was comfy and the room size was fine, the bathroom was a bit snug but okay. Location is excellent, it's been extremely hot , so we have been out early when its cool, really good chilling in the park bar in the afternoon under the shade , in deck chairs watching the ships and birds on the Rhine. “I don’t smoke or able to tolerate the smell of cigarettesThe smoke area was directly below my window. The constant talking and cigarette smell coming up through my window from the courtyard below night and day was the only unpleasant experience. The staff was great and I know if I complained they would try to accommodate me but I was too lazy to ask for a room change as I was away for most of the day. Otherwise the experience was great for what I paid for.”
