the motel was fabulous

Pros: Staff helpful, quiet clean rooms
Cons: more free milk in the refrigerator
Location: restaurant - only had breakfast. Maccas across the road as was a service station!
the motel and staff were fabulous! and will certainly recommend it - BUT I will NEVER use expedia ever again! we tried to change our booking and the staff there were so rude and unhelpful! . The staff at the hotel on the other hand were fabulous! went way beyond help for us!

Nice hotel 20 mins from Hunter Valley

Pros: Close to hunter valley, good price
Cons: Bed was a bit soft but otherwise ok.
Location: Walking distance is a pub and macdonald's, oportos. About 5-10 min drive away, there are supermarkets (woolworths, coles, aldi) and also eateries
Very clean and good ammenities. Close to shops, pub, macdonald's, supermarket and hunter valley is about 20 mins drive away.

I am not very pleased that they swiped my credit card for $100.00 in case we defaulted. I conceed to take a record but don't process the transaction. I had wanted to use that money and it is taking far took long to get it back.

Lovely place to stay. Close to shopping, Hunter valley, restaurants, tourist attractions.

No room service

Pros: Modern comfortable rooms
Cons: Meals to rooms.
Good clean modern rooms but although they promote restaurant on site you only find when you get there that it is only for breakfast.You get a charge back to dine in the pub next door so you get the privilege to mix with the great unwashed.

The motel was well located within walking distance to supermarkets and shops. McDonalds and Oporto opposite the motel. The room was roomy and the bed comfortable. The bathroom also a good size.

Hunter valley close by. Great tourist attractions nearby. Handy to shopping centres and restaurants. Good experience overall. Friendly and helpful staff. Great rooms.

Very disappointing

We stayed two nights. The website said they had free wifi and premium channels, which is not true. To start with the wifi didn't at all all the time we were there and when we checked they said there was a problem and hoped it could be fixed, which it wasn't. The room was clean but there were no spare blankets in the cupboard as there should have been (it was the middle of winter), no spoons for tea/coffee. In the booklet in the room it stated that they no longer had Foxtel ( which is still being advertised on their website). When we went to breakfast on the Monday, getting there about 20 mins before it closed (the breakfast times were different for weekend and weekdays), the hot food had been turned off half an hour before closing so no hot food. I have never been to a hotel breakfast buffet where this has happened. A number of people arrived after us and couldn't believe they had turned off the hot food. it also took over a week for me to get my deposit of $100 back, and that was after two phone calls! We felt that the customers at this hotel came second to saving costs!! Very, very disappointing.
