Past its prime

Pros: Charming log cabins, charming staff.
Cons: The dampness in rooms has to be addressed. The steps to rooms are rotting and dangerous. A bar needs drinks. A restaurant needs food.
It's a shame what was once a lovely place has been so neglected and that the management obviously don't take running it seriously. Everything is run down and some parts are visibly rotting. The restaurant and bar are out of stock constantly, the rooms smell of damp and many are badly mouldy.

exclusive but condition can be improved

Pros: customer focused staffs. very fast buggy sevice
Cons: room cleaning and preparation
Location: everything is available and reachable
The only setback was the room preparation - towel not enough, tea spoon missing, leftover plates by previous occupant left at the balcony. Others, perfect especially the engaged staffs are beyond expectation.

exclusive hotel but lack of room maintenance

Pros: a very nice hotel to stay.
Cons: ensuring the room preparation to be simply perfect (all in place) and to ensure equipment are working before a customer steps into the room
Location: plenty of things are near. perfect.
location and hotel set-up was perfect. but comparatively the room maintenance does not up to the hotel level. leftover plates with rotten foods (from room service by previous occupant) left at the balcony. incomplete towels in the room (i realized this because accommodated 2 same type of rooms at the same time). tea spoon left out / not available in one room. blocked toilet bowl. access card faulty. desk phone buttons not working / damaged. and worse case air-conditioning not working and finally room was changed to another at 2am in the morning. but lucky is that the respond from the maintenance team (eventhough at 1am) was very2 fast. On the bright side, room service respond was very2 good, buggy service respond was extremely fast (the best compared to other hotels serving buggy). complaints respond was very2 prompt and maintenance team was extremely responsive and high concern on customer's expectation, well done! others in terms of food, staff's attitude towards customers are good, at a 4-5 star level. TQ

Beautiful stay

A good place to stay away city and relax. Beautiful scenery and shooting ambiance. The staffs are friendly too. The only problem we faced during the stay was the air-cond problem, causing the room is warm during day time, but it's okay during night.

Back to nature, good experience

Hotel check in process needs lots of improvement.After long q for half hour to check in, room not ready.receptionist told us they will give us a call once room is ready.more than 1 hour waiting,nobody call us. We asked the receptionist again,they told us to Q up again To collect our room keY and it took another half hour waiting in the Q.Definitely not a 5 star hotel standards with the current check in process.
