Pros: its location
Cons: A decent English tv channel
Location: everything in Nerja is at hand or very easily accessible
Small apartment spotlessly clean. Great location. Perfect for a short break. Bars restaurants and shops on your doorstep

The apartment was good. The location good. However, tour 4 week stay was ruined by roadworks which commenced the day after our arrival and continued and will continue for another 4 weeks after we left. The road was closed and one side completely dug up for sewerage and rainwater pipe replacement. Every weekday we endured jack hammers, bulldozers, trucks, and constant dust. Of course had we been informed that works were to be done we would not have stayed at the apartment. We had booked the apartment for its location and outdoor evening eating etc. which of course didn't happen as the entire road was closed to any activities. We also missed out on the Nerja carnival procession which would normally have passed through the road and of which we would have had a perfect view from above. So, whilst the actual apartment was ok the stay was not good. As for Hotels.com we are very unhappy to have booked an apartment without being informed by Hotels.com of the conditions we were to face. I am not asking for any refund etc since I don't expect anyone will consider themselves responsible for our woes with Hotels.com. As far as we are concerned it is the booking agency (Hotels.com) which has the responsibility to fully inform clients of any such conditions
