One night stay before flightPosted Sep 27, 2015
Pros: Quiet, location, clean, safe.
After a somewhat disappointing experience at another Malaga hotel, we needed somewhere to meet our needs which were: quiet, clean, secure, close to airport transit, early check out, close to central area with restaurants/shopping. This hotel met it all. We asked for a quiet room as we had a big travel day the following day and it was dead silent; a rarity in a city. The hotel was right in the central area, across from a market which has amazing seafood lunch tapas. Staff was friendly. Right by the bus stops, one of which goes to the airport. We would stay here again.

Great location.Posted Sep 12, 2015
Pros: The hotel is in a great location.
We enjoyed our five night stay in this hotel. It is across the street from the market. On one side is a well stocked supermarket and on the other side is the excellent Los Pueblos restaurant, open for breakfast and lunch. The seafront is a five minute walk. The accomodation is comfortable . The staff were friendly.

In piena FERIA DE MALAGA!!Posted Aug 23, 2015
Pros: Posizione, camera ampia, vita

Good hotel close to central MalagaPosted Jul 29, 2015
Pros: The staff were friendly and knowledgeable and all spoke good English. They were very nice people. The location of the hotel.
Cons: More places to put things, especially in the bathroom. Had to leave things on the floor while showering.
Location: It is central but not touristy. Nearby Calle Nueva is good for shops, ice cream, etc, you can go to the beach.
I requested a room facing the street rather than an inner well and got this, however Atarazanas is a busy road, and there is noise and traffic fumes. Otherwise the room was quiet and comfortable, with a very comfortable bed. There is a bar next door that does good breakfasts and lunches and is cheap - but it is closed in the evenings and on Sundays. Although it does not seem to be, the hotel is actually very close to the centre, which can be reached walking in a matter of minutes. Malagueta beach is also within walking distance and is very pleasant with beach cafes and sunbeds. I enjoyed my stay at Hotel Atarazanas- the staff were nice, the room was clean and comfortable, and everything you could want for a summer holiday - beach, shops, ice cream - is within walking distance.

Atarazanas Hotel, Malaga, SpainPosted Jul 29, 2015
Pros: It is relaxed, warm, accessible, and quiet.
Cons: The breakfast coffee comes out of a machine and I couldn't drink it. Real coffee would be recommended.
Location: El Mercado, shops, banks, restaurants, the subway - City Center is right out the front door
Atarazanas is centrally located. It is right across the street from El Mercado, the wonderful city market filled with fresh fruits, vegetables, dried fruits, nuts, spices, fresh fish, cheese and meat from the region. The staff are accomodating; Elena was amazingly helpful. The room was clean and pleasant. I found it easy to walk the lovely city of Malaga from Atarazanas. It is ideally located close to the subway to take the train (1.80 Euros) to the Malaga Airport within 20 minutes - fun and fast. I do highly recommend having breakfast across the street, if you like to have REAL coffee for breakfast. It is a non-smoking hotel. Always check that your room is smoke-free at hotels if it matters.

Great placePosted Jul 5, 2015 on Hotels
Location location location. This hotel has awesome location to the mercado and to a grocery store. and two blocks from the beginning of the main shops/restaurant center. A great hotel to explore Malaga. Rooms are spacious and there is AC. We did not try the breakfast but they have several options. There are tons of restaurants if you are looking for a spanish breakfast or english/irish/US breakfast.

Could have been a little gemPosted Jul 2, 2015 on Hotels
Nice little hotel... Too bad that AC broke down during one of hotest day. Unfortunately, hotel service wasn't really helpful on this matter.
