Good location right by central train station. Quiet. Rooms comfortable with good bathroom. We did not get a city view room as booked but one overlooking back courtyard with frosted glass. WiFi not up to watching TV on laptop. Room TV did not have channels advertised.

Spacious, comfortable & clean. Staff very friendly at reception. Perfect location for a day in Malaga before flying out the following morning. Walkable to centre & very handy for the train to the airport/ or station along the coast to the west. Would definitely stay again, didn’t have breakfast due to early departure.

Really great location for exploring Malaga City Centre. If you are driving then be aware that their is a car lift and it's quite a narrow entrance. Really helpful staff

We've been using this hotel for the last 9 to 10 years apart from when Covid 19 stopped us going and usually go there at least twice or sometimes three times a year. Cannot fault the place or staff who are so friendly. Roll on our next visit

Hotel Guadalmedina is ideally located around the corner from the Centro train station so an easy 4 stops from the airport for only a few euros. It is located close to the old town of Malaga, an easy 10-15 min stroll to the marina and lots of fantastic restaurants and shops. The hotel is spotlessly clean and very comfortable, the rooms are modern and have everything you need. All the staff are very warm, friendly and happy to help and give directions. The breakfast selection is excellent and the waitress is so friendly and welcoming each morning. Lovely hotel and really will go back again. This is our second visit and it was just as good as the first visit.

Location was great. Staff not friendly at all. The Address listed on expedia was wrong address. It took us a very long time to find property. Air conditioning unit in room very weak. Room was warm when we arrived.

Very nice hotel. The room and the bathroom were very big and the bed was very comfortable. The area is perfect, you can walk everywhere and you are by the station.

A superb location, just a minute or two from Malaga Centro station and across the bridge from Malaga shopping district and the old town. A great price for a clean room with a very large bed and a big bathroom.

The hotel was in a good location, with very helpful and friendly reception staff and the room was clean enough. I was surprised to see the this marketed as a 4 star hotel as it's dated and looks a bit shabby

This is no 4 star hotel! This is a one star at best! There was a used shower towel left in the bathroom hanging on the hook behind the door. The folded towels were old and had no freshness feel or smell to them. The room is dated, circa 1980s, when we arrived it was hot and damp with the AC off but cooled quickly when we turned on the AC. There was no bed cover for the night only a thin bed sheet with no blankets in the closet. The same liquid soap at the sink is your shower shampoo gel and conditioner ( there was none of those items in the shower but one dispenser of the same hand liquid soap by the sink.) there is no coffee in the room but it’s available for 1 euro downstairs. To be fair, the staff were friendly we arrived 90 min before check in and as the room was ready they did let us check in earlier! Will never stay there again!

Good hotel near the centre of town. It’s just in the outskirts from the historic centre and quite a walk from the main beach but the metro is just outside and bus stops close by.

Short walk to historical center and waterfront. Nice rooms, well maintained, friendly staff. Metro stop across close by. If driving, easy to locate, front area drop off, parking very close by with discount from the hotel.

The hotel was excelent very comfortable with good breakfast. Also very conviniently located close to the center and not to far away from the train/bus station and 15 minutes away from the airport with metro. My only complaint could be the fact of sprinkling the room and the corridors with some kind of fragrance which was very intensive fortunately one could open the window to get rid of it. (though one should be aware this is generally the case in Spain).

Spacious rooms, equipped with all you need for a short or a longer stay. The hotel is right next to the subway station heading to the airport and within walking distance from the Central Railway Station. 5 min walk to all the hussle and bustle of Malaga. Walls are a bit thin so keep in mind and bring earplugs.

Would be better if there was an indoor restaurant for lunch and dinner. Also, a Bar Facility. Hotel needs to be clearly sign posted as name is not easily visible from the pavement or road.

We had a very comfortable stay at this hotel. The staff were all very friendly and the breakfast was very good. The hotel is spotlessly clean. It's in a very central location and a short walk from great restaurants, shops and the city center. We will be back.

Great location and lovely staff!
We stayed for over a week during the holiday period. We spoke with several different staff over that time and all were always very friendly, polite and helpful. We loved everything about the hotel except for some small things detailed below. Overall we would stay there again and do recommend it! Tip, they provide tea in the room but no instant coffee so bring your own or visit the local shop to buy it and some milk or other items. 1, the entire hotel turns off their air conditioning and heating system during winter, however, our room was always rather warm and even opening the window didn't help much because there was never a breeze. There are no fans in the bathroom. A desktop fan would have been helpful to circulate the air a bit. We just found the room a bit too warm and struggled to get decent sleep because of that. The room and bed were huge and very comfy though. 2. The room was very clean but they could be more eco friendly. We hung up our towels every day but they still replaced them with fresh ones, even though the sign says they will not replace them unless they are on the floor or in the tub. They also have these tiny tissue packs wrapped in plastic whereas a normal tissue box would be better. They didn't replace the mini plastic tissues at all during our stay so we had to use toilet rolls to blow our noses etc. Not ideal. 3. Eggs and sausages at breakfast are not under a heat lamp so they are cold and the coffee machine at breakfast produced an abysmal coffee.
