We stayed for over a week during the holiday period. We spoke with several different staff over that time and all were always very friendly, polite and helpful. We loved everything about the hotel except for some small things detailed below. Overall we would stay there again and do recommend it!
Tip, they provide tea in the room but no instant coffee so bring your own or visit the local shop to buy it and some milk or other items.
1, the entire hotel turns off their air conditioning and heating system during winter, however, our room was always rather warm and even opening the window didn't help much because there was never a breeze. There are no fans in the bathroom. A desktop fan would have been helpful to circulate the air a bit. We just found the room a bit too warm and struggled to get decent sleep because of that. The room and bed were huge and very comfy though.
2. The room was very clean but they could be more eco friendly. We hung up our towels every day but they still replaced them with fresh ones, even though the sign says they will not replace them unless they are on the floor or in the tub. They also have these tiny tissue packs wrapped in plastic whereas a normal tissue box would be better. They didn't replace the mini plastic tissues at all during our stay so we had to use toilet rolls to blow our noses etc. Not ideal.
3. Eggs and sausages at breakfast are not under a heat lamp so they are cold and the coffee machine at breakfast produced an abysmal coffee.
