Excellent hotel and worth every penny.

We stayed here for 6 days in a family room; 2 adults and 1 teenager. The children's rooms were at the top of a flight of stairs within the bedroom. Our daughter had no problem with them and she enjoyed her annex at the top of the stairs and the amazing view over the city of Malaga. The beds were comfortable, the room spotless and the staff were super-friendly and helpful.
We made use of the lovely swimming pool that is on site, to cool down at the end of our sightseeing trips. Likewise we twice ate at the Amador Restaurant which forms part of the hotel G. The food served here was exquisite and out of this world. It is frequented by visiting tourists and locals alike. We had everything from duck, to Sea-bream and Angus Short-rib, all of which were delicious. The puddings were equally as mouth-watering. It is great to eat a quality meal, full of flavour and textures and feel completely satisfied at the end - full, yet not bloated or with a leaden stomach. I would recommend this restaurant even if you didn't stay at the hotel. It is also reasonably priced with the meat dishes at about €20 to €25.
The breakfasts at Hotel G. were tasty, filling, varied and plentiful. It's a continental theme, though one could also order eggs (to one's liking) and select from a range of cold meats and cheeses. The best part of breakfast was the coffee which was simply 1st-class, my wife and I were both in agreement that it was the best part of what was an excellent & value for money b'fast.
