Fantastic hotel, would definately return

Posted Apr 26, 2017
Pros: The heat off the jacuzzi's indoor and out. They were very hot.
Cons: The evenin entertainment was a little rubbish but that's just personal taste.
Location: Local bus to Marbella. Restaurants, tobacconist , pharmacy, tennis courts, golf courses.
The staff were great, so welcoming and helpful. The rooms were great especially the bathrooms. The facilities were brilliant and the beach was at the edge of the pool. There were several quality restaurants 5 mins walk from the hotel also. The spa in the hotel was lovely and you could smell the aromas of tee tree oil in the reception which was lovely.

Nice hotel on the beach

Posted Oct 4, 2016 on Hotels
Everything was good, there are just minor issues which could be better in this hotel. Rooms are spacious, beds are comfortable, bathroom is exceptional, food is sufficient (above avg. in this locality), service is really good. If I should be perfectionist there is space for improvment in these areas; Not enough space in area for evening animations, wifi could be better, empty minibar, missing option of some proper food in case you don't do buffet (e.g. possibility to order an omelette, pizza or warm toasts).

spacious accommodation, but long way from town

Posted Sep 30, 2016
Pros: Welcome drink when you arrive to check in is a nice touch.
Cons: See above
Location: See above
This is a decent hotel. Rooms are large and well appointed. Wonderfully quiet, especially the pool view rooms. They suffer from a congenital inability to understand what a double room actually means (as opposed to a twin). Two twin beds pulled together do not constitute a "double". I have had this conversation with them more than once. Expedia should also make this clearer. Breakfast here is rather mediocre. There are few staff. A hotel of this quality in Spain of all places shouldn't be serving reconstituted orange juice from a push-button machine. The pool (which I didn't use of this occasion) is a nice facility. Although it's listed as being in Estepona, it barely is and sits almost halfway between Estepona and Marbella. It's a bit of a trek to go to either of the cities for dinner, though there are several excellent roadside restaurants, particularly on the Marbella/San Pedro side, along with a few bars where you definitely wouldn't take your maiden aunt.

Lovely 1 night stay at this hotel, service was spot on. The staff were all very nice and also very helpful. The selection of food was extensive and of a good standard. I would be happy to stay here again.

Very nice hotel

Friendly staff, good food selection and very handy for beach access. Downsides were lack of shops nearby and close to main roads.

hotel

Pros: The newly re furbished style and cleanliness.
Cons: Nothing could have been better but the situation of the hotel was the only downside. Having had a car would have been ideal.
Location: Lovely places to visit a bus ride away but the buses were not reliable.
Lovely re furbished hotel, clean fresh bedroom and modern bathroom. The staff were so delightful and went out of their way to be as helpful as possible and made a really great friendly atmosphere.

Iberostar - May 2016

Posted May 15, 2016
Pros: x
Cons: x
Location: Don't know as I spend a very short time there
I didn't spend enough time here to rate it properly. The hotel was on the beach but as the rain poured down over the 18 hours I was there, I never saw it. Also, being early season, the hotel was not very full and lacked any atmosphere. Meals were good.
