It is a big name but they are living of their past glory. The "suite" that they put us in was a small room, packed, above a noisy pool and next to a restaurant, so could not hear or smell the sea. When we requested a change of room, with a cost of course, they gave us a slightly bigger room, but next to a power plant so the noise was 24/7. The rooms are very old, dark. The hotel needs seroius updates in the rooms. Gardens are beatiful, and there are many options to dine.

Very nice stay. Service is excellent, room very clean, great resort with a lot of different restaurants with very good food. Only thing to improve is the temperature of the shower, always switches from too warm to too cold and back..

Rooms could certainly stand a renovation as, for example, the white sofa is more off-white with stains. Housekeeping is super nice and accommodating as is check-in, but the concierge desk is unhelpful and grumpy. The information they gave us was either bad, half-baked, or begrudgingly given, like we were asking a favor of someone in the middle of something much more important.

You get location, that is what you get with this hotel. It does have some great restaurants, but not any of the ones they manage themselves (all but a few outsourced). There is a clear lack of management and attention to detail as you would expect for a 5*. It starts at check-in which takes five times as long as necessary. Just take the darn passports and return them later! Dont make me sit there while you are manually typing in info into the system. And then why do you need the passport again for the PCR test? Didnt you scan it in to begin with? This becomes a theme across all services provided. It just isnt 5* service. Yes, they do what you ask, mostly, but it is never expedient, efficient, helpful or with a smile. I booked two "delux suites" (I think they called them) and there was no wow factor. Not bad, but that should not at all be the bar here. It clearly has to start at the top.

The hotel itself is great-ish. The room is nice, I stayed in a junior suite, however the A/C was dripping in the bathroom and the bed had a broken bed frame on one side which would have been an issue if we had been two sleeping in it. The facilities are great, gym is very modern and a great place to work out in. The plaza with all the restaurants are great. The service however is 50/50 - I encountered both some of the best and some of the worst I’ve ever experienced at this hotel. The service staff at the Sea Grill both during breakfast and dinner service is atrocious - bad enough to make me not want to stay at this hotel again.

The room on this occasion was very damp and had not been yet refurbished.I think perhaps that the old style rooms are given to booking sites. BOOK DIRECT. They will give you the same price if you ask .....

I have been staying in the hotel for the past 4 years . Every summer . The service was excellent. But this year it was awful. I was suppose to stay 2 weeks but i had to cut it short and moved to another hotel. For the whole week only one night they did turndown service , the room infront of us they kept leaving trash and towels outside their door and no one picks it up for the entire day. And when we checked out, one of my bag was missing a wheel , and the bellboy was so mad he dragged the bag 2 floors down and broke the remaining 2 wheels. I told the manager what happened and left the hotel. I would never expect this service from a hotel like this.

Fabulous restaurants, cool, contemporary newly refurbished rooms, great position, choice of 3 pools or beach. Highly recommend Rachael’s For breakfast and lunch - super healthy and yummy without breaking the bank. Only off brand thing was being sent to the very outdated tennis club locker room to shower before our flight. Never had this experience in a 5 star resort before - usually you would use the spa showers so this was odd and at best a 2-3 star environment. My 3rd time staying here and I will be back!
