Staff were helpful, very polite and gracious. Partying neighbours who kept us awake for the first three nights were no longer noisy after my complaint on night 4. The only downside was an unelicited invitation to a meeting with whom we thought was the hotel manager..but turned out to be a sales rep selling the equivalent of timeshare. This took time out of our day...and I would recommend the hotel gives information about whether it is appropriate for the rep to knock on a guests, door,when we were resting, ask lots of questions, and then after the meeting,at which, we sat at politely ,not wishing to cause offence, the rep refused to give any literature about the sales company involved,yet expected us to pay for a service with no evidence of where our monies would be sent. The service from the aforementioned rep,s company was wholly inappropriate for me, As a businesswoman I have no intention to take any holidays in the near future. I would recommend the hotel screens such situations against cold calling ie knocking on the room door, by informing the guests in advance upon check in ,that such may happen, and,whether the guest agrees or not to the service being offered. That said....the hotel is exemplary,and I intend to return again.
