Don Alfredo is a little run down, but the staff were very friendly, and the location was great for dining and reasonable for getting to the beach.

Excellent stay near everything important to see. Francisco was a great staff/host and offered us great service for the free breakfast every morning. He got me a great motorcycle parking spot near my window. Really appreciate that. Highly recommend. Free wifi

Brilliant value for money.
I felt really lucky to have you d this inexpensive hotel, right by the Old Town. The continental breakfast is great and will keep you going for sometime. The staff were really friendly and helpful. The location s superb, right by the Old Town, 5 minutes walk to the beach.

Excellent value and location
Excellent location very near historic center. Very good condition and cleanliness of room. Owners are always available for service. Breakfast included is very good. Size of room is adequate but well within European standards. Excellent value for the money.

Lovely traditional hotel near to the old town.
The hotel was close to the old town of Marbella so was ideal for going out during the day and the evening. Very traditional Spanish style but had all relevant amenities e.g aircon, toiletries, breakfast was included aswell which was your typical continental style but very nice.

Good for one night
Great location, no parking and no help from the hotel in finding parking despite email requests, Nice quiet street but internal noise carries very badly. Good air con and wifi. If staying here we parked at the municipal mercado, a 10 min walk away €18 for overnight.

Fantastic location for the old town. If your just spending time on business or out and about this hotel is perfect. The only negative is there was no iron, ironing board and hairdryer in the room(Girls bring supplies) apart from that it was the perfect location for work in and out of Marbella.

Great location across a 10th century fortress.
Nice, friendly staff. Excellent location to explore the old Marbella, lots of restaurants, shops. If you like flamenco, there is one a couple of streets up fron the hotel. The old town is like a big maize of narrow streets, walls painted white, some with beautiful ceramic tile in bright colors and if you get lost a friendly local will help you. The hotel does not have a pool, however, the beach is 5 - 10 minutes away. The WIFI at the hotel is fast and reliable.

Spanish hospitality at it's best.
My husband and I had booked 3 nights in this hotel, but due to a family illness we had to book a flight home after only staying for one night. The owner/s were very kind and supportive to our situation and were very helpful. We will definitely return at a later date.

SWEET LITTLE GEM WORTHY OF MORE STARS.
I was pleasantly surprised at how easy it was to stay at this sweet hotel where I felt safe, as well as to be told that a substantial Continental breakfast with really good coffee, was included. The cleanliness was outstanding and I wanted to take the cleaner and the coffee maker back to London with me. The location is 5 minutes from the beach and everything else, as is directly opposite the awesome 9th century fortress. Highly recommended.

Old Town Charm
I really enjoyed my stay here. The room was small but the view from our French doors was beautiful, the remains of an Arabic castle. We were right in the centre of the old section of Marbella, a real treat. I found the family who ran the hotel, happy, helpful and service oriented. The neighbourhood is lively (we dropped in on an unexpected karaoke night two doors up and danced in the rain with the local crowd. A night I'll remember fondly. Also, the street served as part of the route for a rather well-attended marathon. A lot of fun for us as spectators. I would definitely go back to this hotel.

Excellent. What a friendly hotel. The staff could not do enough for us, the room was a decent size and very clean. We had a lovely room looking out over the old wall. For what you pay, it is a wonderful hotel. I would happily stay there again and again. We hired a car, which I think is essential for pottering around the local area and trying different beaches.

This is a simple, inexpensive & reasonably comfortable hotel close to the old city. You get what you pay for & this is a pretty cheap hotel. Unfortunately for us, the walls are pretty thin and the people next door didn't stop playing music & talking until 6am. Had I been able to speak fluent Spainish I would have asked them to turn it down. Our room didn't smell too badly of smoke, but the moment we stepped outside the door we were hit with the smell of smoke which wasn't pleasant.

Its a great value hotel
Its not luxury, but at this price it exceeds all expectations. Clean room, breakfast included, very caring service, and fabulous location. You cant ask for more at this price!
