The hotel is right on the beach - get a room at the back of the hotel with a sea view and balcony the trip advisor standard room is at the front but we called and paid 100 euros extra (for two of us over 6 nights). The beach is fine and the hotel is near the extreme end so mainly properties nearby and not much noise or "passing trade" Good air con. No fridge although there was space for one in our room, and our room had cupboard and balcony sliding doors that hardly "slid". Nice helpful staff. A good 3 star hotel.

Hotel's location on map is wrong
Had difficulty in finding this hotel the hotel's location on a map is totally wrong and hotel actually located further on the outskirts of Torrox Costa than advertised on a map.

Seaview from Hotel room
Just overnight at this hotel, but we stayed halfboard and although only a limited option for evening meal it was hot and freshly cooked (lovely prawn omelette starter). Breakfast was continental style - boiled eggs, cereal, ham, cheese, jam etc etc, all very fresh & pleasant. All this for for a very reasonable price. The bar was empty and the receptionist had to leave her desk and serve at the bar, but at least there was no queue! Resort very quiet with most places closed due to time of year (and weather!), but we had an afternoon of sunshine at the little cafe on the promenade close to the hotel, with tapas at 0.60 each. Would like to try this hotel again later in the year.

Booked just for three nights bed and breakfast . Rooms comfortable, clean, towels changed daily. Breakfast , continental which is what we expected, plenty of everything no concerns. Staff friendly and willing to help. No swimming pool

Excellent value hotel and comfortable stay
Just got back from a three week June stay at the Santa Rosa with my wife and sons. We had a very nice time there and felt that the hotel was extremely good value for the price. The rooms were spacious, presentable, comfortable, cleaned well on a daily basis, and the sea view from the room was excellent. The Santa Rosa is located to the far western side of El Morche, which itself is quite a small and quiet town. The western side of El Morche is quieter than the slightly busy eastern end of the town going towards Torrox Costa, although it is essentially a continuation and is along the same one long beach. There is no pool in the Santa Rosa although it’s sister hotel (about 40 meters away) has a really nice rooftop pool and lounging area which is free to use for guests of both hotels and as the sister hotel is a taller building offers an even better view of the Mediterranean sea. The garden of the hotel leads immediately onto the sand of El Morche beach. It was helpful to have this grassed area to rest in as it comes with free to use beach beds and parasols on the grass, yet just a few meters walk leads you directly onto the beach. The breakfast buffet was so inexpensive that I almost feel guilty criticising it; however some simple and inexpensive changes could make it a lot better. I was able to eat well enough each morning, but the breakfast would get a 3/5 rating from me. The reception staff were polite and helpful if I needed anything from them.

Good place to stay
My parents and me had a good stay here. Our room overlooked the ocean and the staff, specially Silvia were VERY helpful and kind. the only negative was the hotel was old and we had some water damage spots in our room, but for the value of the booking, it is worth it. We were also a good distance from Malaga, but not a bad bus ride and you can also take a bus trip to Granada from there. I recommend the hotel.

Good hotel in front of the sea
very nice stay, our room had a direct view on the ocean, with A/C. very clean, good little tapas restaurant near the hotel. we had a car and the parking was free. you need a car to be able to travel around. it is about 45 min from malaga and 1h15 from Grenada. we would go back anytime!

Since I was travelling with people who had to save I picked this Hotel that cost nothing. Later I discovered the bad reviews. this hotels ends up above expectations. I would never go here with my wife, but it worked perfect for three friends that came to drink and eat out for a weekend in November.

Nerja to Gibraltar - Stopped in Torrox Costal
Picked this hotel two hours before arrival and was fearful my reservation would not be at the hotel when I arrived, But it was - hurray! The staff was friendly, the bar was inexpensive, but the breakfast buffet was a bit too expensive for what they had. The beach was very convenient, right out back, although to get there you had to walk around the building, which was odd. Over all - this was a solid 3 star hotel.

Ankom meget sent om natten. Deres receptionist var fantastisk og havde intet imod at lave kaffe til 2 trætte damer da vi ankom. Godt sted, rene og pæne værelser. Alt i alt et fint sted.

Hübsches Hotel direkt am Strand
Wir hatten Zimmer mit Frühstück. Bis auf die Brötchen war das Frühstück mit Kaffee, heisser Schokolade, Müsli und Säfte, sowie Wurst + Käse ausreichend gut. Man konnte auch Rühr oder Spiegelei frisch bestellen. Am Strand sind teilweise kleine runde Steinen (im Wasser größere runde Steine).

Malgré notre réservation 10 jours en avance , l hôtesse d accueil ne voulait pas nous donner la chambre sous prétexte que l hôtel était plein et que notre réservation n' était que pour 1 nuit !!!! Il a fallu qu on insiste vivement et longuement ( ce qui est fort désagreable quand on vient de faire 8 heures de route) Je ne recommanderai pas cet hôtel , personnel désagréable , les chambres pas entretenues , croissant du déjeuner périmé..... Un gros couac dans notre circuit touristique.

Close to the sea, not close to a good beach..
The adjacent shoreline is really close, but provide no good beach if you are looking for a sandy beach. The one close to Santa Rosa is filled with stones and grovel. The parking is free but all but well tidy. Large staff in site among absurd amount of pappers, imagine a bussy office of the 80´s... Nonthe less, the hotel offer a quite pleasant stay with a nice garden to use both in day and evenings.

해변에서 가깝습니다만, 해변이 그다지 좋지는 않습니다. 길 바로 옆에 있어서 찾기는 쉽습니다. 그러나 대부분의 이 동네 호텔들이 길 바로 옆에 있습니다. 좀 오래된 호텔이구요, 청소상태가 그리 좋지는 않았습니다. 주차장은 따로 없습니다. 제가 갔을 때는 그래도 비수기라 길거리에 주차가 가능했는데, 성수기에는 주차가 매우 힘들 것 같습니다. 아침조식은 그냥 저가호텔 조식수준입니다. 다만, 호텔 직원들은 매우 친절했습니다. 가격 이외에는 다시 방문할 이유가 없을 것 같습니다.

Très grande chambre familiale avec un grand balcon
Hôtel situé directement sur la plage et mise à disposition de transats pour les personnes qui le souhaitent. Notre chambre familiale était presque un petit appartement puisque nous disposions de 2 chambres, d'une salle de bain petite mais confortable avec une bonne douche, mais aussi d'un grand balcon. Une des 2 chambres avait même une vue sur mer (sur le côté). Seul bémol : le petit déjeuner qui reste moyen comparé à tous les hôtels que nous avons pu faire (9 en 10 jours). Mais tout de même un très bon rapport qualité prix. Moins de 60 euros la nuit pour 4 personnes petits déjeuners compris. Nous conseillons donc cet hôtel.

Olimme matkalla Frigilianaan ja Nerjaan. Valitsimme hotellin, koska se oli hinta-laatusuhteeltaan hyvä ja sijaitsi meren rannalla, tien vieressä lähellä kohteita. Meitä oli 2 aikuista ja 2 lasta, sängyt eri huoneissa taitto-ovella erotettavissa. Huone oli tilava. Yövyimme vain 1 yön ja siihen tarpeeseen se oli hyvä.

Dårlig renhold. Vi fant klær etter tidligere gjester i støvet under sengene. Middags buffeen anbefales ikke. Gå heller ut og spis. Lang vei til det meste. Er avhengi av bil. Parkering bare på gaten.

Hyggelig hotel med direkte udgang til strand
Hotel Santa Rosa er ikke et prangende hotel, men receptionisterne og rengøringsholdet er utrolig flinke og førstnævnte snakker fint engelsk. Vi havde ingen problemer med check-in/ud. Værelset var stort, to enkelt senge, godt badeværelse og lækker balkon (den var ikke stor, men der var plads til 2 stole og smuk udsigt over bjergene) El Morche, hvor hotellet ligger, er ikke en storby, men den er super hyggelig og fyldt med lokale, både på stranden, butikker og restauranter. Der er maks 100 meter til stranden og en lille have, hvor man også kunne ligge foran hotellet. Min eneste klage er morgenmaden, som bestod af brød, ost, marmelader og smør. Hotellet ligger 2.2 km væk fra den dejlige strandpromenade, så jeg vil anbefale, at man lejer en bil, da det ikke er rart at gå de km i 35 graders varme :-) Ihvertfald efter vores erfaring! Promenaden er helt klart et besøg værd, masser af liv alle tider på døgnet, fantastiske restauranter, hvor alle stort set snakker godt engelsk og stranden lige ved siden af.

es un hotel que por el estado supongo viejo, si bien mantienen la limpieza, no huelen bien las habitacioness , al menos la que utilicé yo, las alfombras de lso pasillos muy deterioradas, yo fui a descansar y realmente había muchísimas familias con muchos niños, Por lo qeu lo considero un hotel familias y no de descanso La atención siempre fue muy amable, Si uno va de paso se banca , para muchos días no es de mi agrado, de todos modos para no gastar mucho se recomienda, pero no etá cerca de Málaga, son 45 minutos de automóvil es una playa más de la costa se llama Torrox, o sea si la idea es estar todos los días en málaga , evaluar las distancias

Situé au bord de la mer, l'hôtel est parfait pour un arrêt sur la route. Attention à l'adresse, notre GPS ne la trouvait pas nous avons du arrêter pour nous informer. Le personnel insistait fortement pour que je leur laisse mon passeport à des fin de vérification ce que j'ai refusé. Il est inscrit stationnement gratuit mais en fait c'est dans la rue. Notre chambre avait une vue sur la mer et un balcon. Globalement satisfait.
