The property is a good 3 star hotel. The superior room was clean, bright, airy and above all, comfortable. The view from the room was also decent. We went all inclusive and had a very good deal so the food and drink options were great for us, but I'd be disappointed had I paid more. Often the lunch/dinner service was limited to around 5 or 6 hot food trays and resulted in large queues forming - yes even in December. There was a large selection of drinks available, though most of which you had to pay for ON TOP of your all inclusive fee which I found very poor. Also, the all inclusive drinks end at 11pm, which was very disappointing as most shows didn't start until 10pm! They advertise their "all in premium" package everywhere - an excellent money making idea to offer the all inclusive package people think they already have but charge them more! If you're thinking of travelling all inclusive I would highly recommend finding a drinks menu and being aware of 11pm cut off before you book! Overall happy with our stay as we had a very good deal for what we had.

Regarding the different types of all-inclusive, I would like to clarify that, currently, there are 3 types of All Inclusive: the basic one, the Premium upgrade (with an improvement in the selection of drinks and the All Inclusive Premium (available from May 1, 2023 and which replaced the previous Premium upgrade).The latter was launched to expand our All Inclusive service and offer our customers a wider selection of drinks and snacks and is applicable on New Premium All Inclusive Reservations confirmed from March 4, 2023. The room was in the renovated section so it was good. The public areas were just ok, typical 3 start hotel not more. The pool areas were not clean enough and needs allot more cleaning, the floors in those areas were very dirty. They will charge you for using the safe in the room 3Euro/day. They will charge you 15Euro/day for using the parking. The food is just ok but nothing fancy. Overall not bad for the price.

Food was excellent, and the service in general was excellent. The pool bar staff were really nice genuine people and full of joy. The reception staff and restaurant staff were also all amazing, and the entertainement team were also amazing and proffessional.

Just a nice hotel for a basic stay. Weather was rubbish but still got out and about. Little fridge in room is nice touch for drinks. Bathroom smelt of sewage some mornings but loads of works going on in block 1. Quick squirt of air freshener sorted it. I like the hotel it’s chilled

The Hotel was nice and clean. Staff were very nice. The swimming pools were fantastic. Location was great. Entertainment was in Spanish which was a let down for grandchildren. Otherwise was a nice Hotel.

Stay somewhere else next time!
Love benalmadena and stayed in the Bali before and had a good experience. However on this occasion it wasn’t as good. Requested a balcony that gets the sun, the balcony was the size of a shoebox. Bed was uncomfortable and the shower kept going scalding hot.

Happy return to the Bali
Once again I was back at the Bali. Since I was last there they have renovated all the rooms in Block 2 and are now renovating block 1. It was faily quiet due to covid though there was plenty of staff around. The entertainment was very reduced due to covid restrictions but hopefully they will be back to normal in the near future

Few days break
Check in was easy and efficient. Finding our room was not easy with all the different parts of the building it took us a while. Restaurant times were given to us on check in, they were not suitable but we were able to turn up at any time with no problems. Food selection was good but very often cold. Room/apartment was spacious and fridge was a godsend. Overall we enjoyed our stay, but position at the top of cardiac hill was a bit of a shame.

Although refurbishment of rooms is in progress the newly done rooms are lacking in storage. There were no drawers for underwear etc and hanging space was also insufficient. Though they have been nicely done. Be aware that if you do have one of these rooms they will charge a supplement per night It’s not worth it for fresh paint.

We were in a room very close to the kitchen fans which made it too noisy to sit on balcony. The mattress on one of the beds was exceptionally uncomfortable. Rooms are very tired and need an update. However, have stayed there before and will stay again because of location and price

Lovely stay as usual but the room was very noise 1306 every morning early ie from 7am coaches are stopped with there engines running for up to. Half an hour dropping off and picking Spanish pensioners would stay again but definitely not in that room

Great central location without being noisey. We stayed in a standard room in the Bali 2 building. The room was clean and had a see view. The decor was a bit dated but nothing to complain about! All Inclusive food in the restaurant was fab, with plenty of choice. The carrot cake was delicious! All Inclusive drinks were good too and the bar staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel is on a steep hill, set back from the main street but we didnt mind as it burnt off some of those extra calories!! We'll definitely come back to this hotel!

Overall very happy with hotel Bali. I was bit concerned reading some of the reviews, but I must say I can`t fault anything really. Staff friendly and polite, cleaning staff also great, family room extremely spacious and clean, equipped with basic staff like kettle, plates cutlery etc. which is a great help if you travel with kids. Food choice during lunch bit limited , during dinner bit more choice,but everything always fresh. I did not see even once dish from lunch served for dinner or from dinner next day lunch. Great kids pools, very good location. Hotel indeed dated, but it did not disturb us or affect our holiday in any way!
