Poor service and disappointing cleanliness

Pros: Nothing much
Cons: Deep clean the smoking rooms and get rid of them
I booked a one-bed room for two nights, and I was told upon arrival that the room was a smoking room. The only open room that I could transfer to was almost $100 extra, and had three beds in it. There were hairs on the floor of the bathroom and in the tub, but compared to choking on the strong smell of cigarettes, this was better. After checking online, other non-smoking rooms were available for less. I feel that the front desk attendant lied to me and my partner, and that we were cheated out of a decent stay. After the first night, we left for a better, more affordable motel not too far away.

Upon arriving and regristering, seemed like distrubing the person who was working the desk, unprofessional; Front lobby-carpet & furniture was stained; corridors smelled of vomit and smoke; other people had their doors open...conversation to other rooms occurring, smoking seemed liked they were residents. The room smelled of smoke, requested non-smoking; furniture stained, hair in sink and on floor of bathroom.

Hotel that smells like cigarettes

Pros: Staff was friendly.
Cons: The odor and lighting.
Location: Maria's Pizzeria across the street is pretty good food for a good price!
IF you don't mind feeling like you are staying in a dungeon (due to the minimal lighting) and the smell of old cigarettes (in a smoke-free room)....than it's a great place to stay. I was not impressed.

Nice Motel

The place was convenient for me and prices right. The room was freshly renovated and clean. The staff that checked me in was friendly and very helpful. The morning person was a bit of a grump. The only down side that I found was the breakfast started way too late.

Awful

I saw a roach as soon as I got there! We had an early flight out of Logan, this was the only room available so we took it. We decided to sleep with ALL of the lights on but around 1 in the morning I jumped up bc I had been bitten by a bed bug. We ripped up all of the sheets and saw evidence of bedbugs. My boyfriend and I decided we would shower and leave to sleep in our car before having to be at Logan. The shower broke. The guy behind the glass in the office said he wasn’t “authorized” to give us a refund! This room was $180/night! When I get hole from my trip I will be calling he GM fighting for a refund. These conditions were in humane. It reeked of marijuana and the manager couldn’t have cared less. I will never stay at an Econo Lodge again!

Adequate for our needs

Proximity to airport was main need coming from a flight arriving at 9 pm. Older hotel but comfortable king bed. A.c. worked fine. I understand why given 2.4 rating. Met our needs and we were on our way in the morning.
