Many service issues

Pros: Proximity to airport, food
Cons: Service is some of the worst I've experienced from a hotel in a long time
The pros: hotel is well located, close to the airport, good food and comfortable rooms. But service is for the most part awful: major delays at airport waiting for rep to meet you at preassigned place (45 mins!), painful check-in (huge mistakes vs what was booked and confirmed in advance resulting in me paying for a 2nd room!), and both my room and our friend's room down the hall had male staff walking into the room using a key card without knocking, scaring both of us. I would not stay here again.

Nice hotel, 10min transfer from airport

Location: Male was a very busy & dirty city -lots of litter. Fine for a quick stopover en-route to other islands/resorts but not somewhere to holiday.
Really impressed with airport greeting & transfers, was seamless. Hotel room was clean & comfortable. Nice pool area & restaurants. Had booked an ocean view room - wouldn't have called it that, could catch a glimpse of the ocean between the buildings. None the less we were satisfied with our stay.

great place to stay if you need somewhere before transferring to a resort. very helpful staff and organized. helped us get there upon arrival and then helped us personally find our transfer boat the next day

Flawless service

A great place to stay if you're doing business in Male - close to most government buildings and jetty, and really flawless service, lovely rooms, clean, comfortable, good food and a great pool on the roof. I thought charging for breakfast was a bit unnecessary but otherwise perfect. Would definitely recommend.

This was not a room with ocean view

We booked one month before and then double checked by email to make sure everything was fine. We had booked a double room with ocean view (this one costs usd 27 extra over standard room). We arrived tired to the hotel by 8 pm and they sent us to a standard room, and when we complained, they insisted saying that the room had ocean view, but you could only see the building in front (see pictures attached) After a back and forth with manager, we had to show pictures of the room that we booked, and finally 1 hour later, they changed us to another room but same view. We desisted and accepted Reccomendation: don't pay any extras for a view that the hotel cannot provide.
