El servicio de Internet fue limitado, condicionado a la hora de salida del hotel ,interfirio con el desempeño de algunas funciones de mi trabajo. Poco cuidado en las instalaciones de la habitación.

Disappointing
This is a very old Hotel in desperate need of maintenance and remodeling. Three times we had to switch rooms. The first one was small and very uncomfortable, the second one's shower door didn't work and couldn't be fixed and the third one had a leak coming from the ceiling into a chair, overall the hotel and the rooms looked dirty, the furniture is damaged, out of two tiny elevators only one worked. The staff was nice though.They tried to help.

This hotel is in a great location! The staff were all nice and we had a good time. Our only complaint is the AC; it didn’t seem to be working all that well.

Great location
The brekfast was plenty and changed a bit every day. The location is perfect to take a stroll down the navy pier or foot distance to visiting the Aquarium. Nice view to the Sea!

Room 509 has the entrance door in very poor condition. We did not feel safe. the ceiling of the entrance to the room about to fall. In the sheets of the bed there were glued hair ... In short, the entire building and the rooms need a total remodeling immediately. I do not think to stay there again in these conditions.

Overall old hotel. Small rooms, wifi was horrible-Constantly disconnecting. Naval academy across the street woke me up with trumpets and drums every morning bright and early.

The original rm we reserved was awful,one of the beds had sand the sheets looked old and worn. Musty interior room, dead roach in shower. Complained to front desk and they gave us a bigger rm, with great view. Online pics very deceiving.

For the price in this hotel I didn't expect super luxury installations and service, but definitly it is a must expect a clean room. I dopped a cold bottle of soda on the carpet when i picked it up, it was so discasting, the bottle was cover with hair, so, i took a better look of the carpet, it was so filthy hair all over, I couldn't walk bare foot., I can not recommend this hotel room.

Veracruz , a fun place to visit
We had great time at the hotel and the staff was friendly and we loved the great seafood, music, and walks along the "malecon" at night. Veracruz was awsome!!

Really inexpensive to stay. Hotel was across the street from the Gulf and down the street from the Aquarium and Wax Museum. The restaurant downstairs is open 24/7 and the breakfast buffet was terrific and economical. The service was incredible. I believe I got more than my money's worth at this place. The next time I go to Veracruz, I will stay here.

The hotel is in a great location. I felt safe, and i was able to realax. It is extremly close to the beach, just cross the street, and there it is. The pool is really small, but still good enough. Completely disppointed with the hotel. The room was reasonable clean, but it was humid and there was a fetid stench in the room coming out of the sink. Terrible.

This hotel was in the perfect spot, in the middle of everything and away from what could be a busy and loud places. It was a quiet place, what we were not expecting, therefore I would recommend this hotel to anyone how likes a quiet and relaxed place, a small part of home from your home.

Do Not Stay Here Under Any Circumstances!!!
First of all, this hotel is directly across the street from the Merchant Marine academy, which means every morning someone is out at 5 am blowing reveille, and the entire drum and bugle corps practices at least twice a day. I had paid extra ahead of time for a larger room with an ocean view, but the staff attempted to take advantage of my lack of Spanish to give me a smaller room without an ocean view for the same price. Housekeeping was completely unresponsive to our requests, telling us they would be back with whatever we had requested, then leaving us waiting. We were rationed only one washcloth per day for the three of us. They would not exchange money for us, claiming the restaurant is not a "hotel service". The bathroom door wouldn't close, we couldn't make local calls without the hotel staff having to dial the number for us (and charging us to do so), and the only way to turn the patio light on and off was to jiggle the wires. The only enjoyable part of our stay was the restaurant, but you can go there without staying at the hotel.

Super old hotel, very bad conditions
The hotel is really old and has been part of other chains, eventhough it is close to the beachfront and is in a centric area, close the aquarium it has not been maintained properly. We didn't even dare to take a shower without our slippers. Not very clean and even smells old
