Gorgeous gardens, very nice swimming pool.Posted Sep 26, 2015
Very nice staff at the reception, cleaning people and pool. Amazing gardens, beach not too far but you have to pay extra for long chairs/umbrellas. Very nice swimming pool. Older building. Bed comfortable, room and bathroom small . Restaurants over priced, good food but would expect better in a 5 stars hotel. Overall a very relaxing stay.

They have a monopoly.Posted Jul 4, 2015
Pros: It's OK nothing special, the food is average, it's the location that is the attraction. Nice pool , lovely gardens, great staff.
Cons: A price list in the information booklet. Don't lock guests out of their room until 12.00 noon which is the stated time for leaving.
Location: Beautiful location, ideal for a relaxing break.
As they are the only hotel in the area they can do as they please. You pay their prices or don't go. They lead you to believe that they have a private beach when it's not. If you want a sunbed on the beach it's 16 euro's each, per day .Nowhere can you find a price for the buffet dinner.Only the hugely expensive suites have a balcony, the sea and mountain view rooms just have a small window. The rooms are painfully small for the cost. On the day that we left we were locked out of our room before 12.00 noon, very embarrassing !!

Pros: Beliggenheden, naturen, roen, stranden.

Hotel Barcelo FormentorPosted Jun 4, 2015
Pros: Peace and quiet
Cons: The television channels do not have films in English to entertain the children. I only found BBC1, BBC2 and BBC Red Button.
Location: The hotel sits on a peninsula and there is no other hotel nearby so you don't have a choice of eating venues unless you travel by car to nearby Port
A wonderful place to relax. We found the room to be very quiet with very little disturbing noise from other rooms.Excellent hotel with various restaurants to eat along the beach, all owned by the hotel. The morning was spent relaxing around the pool or gardens. The staff were excellent, nothing was too much trouble. I would go again.

Beautiful Setting on the beachPosted Jun 2, 2015
Hotel setting, terraces, gardens and beach are fantastic. Hotel staff very friendly. Interiors of hotel and rooms are somewhat dated. The food and restaurant are ok on the basics, but huge opportunity to improve.

Sehr angenehm, zu alte Bäder und Zimmer zum Teil sehr klein. Kein SPA und das geht gar nicht bei 5 Sternen!!! Kein Fitnessstudio keine Angebote für Yoga, etc!!!!
