Fantastic holiday! The staff cared about what they were doing and nothing was too much. We felt extremely comfortable and the location is great. We will certainly be going back.

3Star Hotel across the road from a lovely beach.

Posted Jun 2, 2017
Pros: The position and it's breakfast!
Cons: The rooms are very small with storage space limited. The bathroom too is small.
Location: The location is around half a mile from the centre of Puerto de Pollensa but is quite a pleasant walk parallel to the beach.
Unfortunately the hotel is rather dated with twelve quite steep steps from the pavement to the hotel entrance.

Quiet sea-front location.

Pros: The Pollenta is a well-run hotel with friendly and helpful staff.
Cons: The single rooms could do with an uplift.
Location: Slightly out of town but does not detract from overall excellence of hotel.
My stay at the Hotel Pollenta was very enjoyable and the food excellent. My whole stay was the best holiday I have had in years.

Hoposa Could Be So Much More

Posted Oct 27, 2016
Location: A prime location directly in front of a fine sandy beach. A short walk from the marina and main restaurants.
The Hoposa has a great location. The building itself is attractive, with a large verandah overlooking the beach and a small garden with seating beneath. Where the hotel disappoints is in the dated rather spartan rooms. With a refit this would be a fantastic hotel, as it is, its chief attractions are its location, and really excellent breakfast buffet. The staff are helpful and friendly, without being intrusive.

Good 3star Hotel, close to beach, cyclist friendly

Posted Oct 16, 2016
Pros: staff, location, value, cycle friendly
Cons: accessibility
Location: walking, cycling, watersports, beach,
We really felt at ease with friendly, competent, helpful staff ,from reception, cleaners, waiters, barmen et al. to the hotel manager Food was better than last visit about 15 years ago with buffet breakfasts and suppers good value Great position in town, across the road from the beach and walkable to town centre; fabulous views across Pollentia Bay from balcony, bar and restaurant Good quality for a 3 star and great value. cyclist friendly with secure and well equipped cycle store-room Not really accessible for disabled but manager was open and available to discuss adaptation such as full length stair rails on both sides of all stairs....but why hadn't they been done already?? Clientelle tend to be older for most of the year, not surprising as no real attraction for children.

New hotel for me in Pollensa

Posted Sep 26, 2016
Pros: As above, plus excellent wifi reception
Cons: Nothing really, just that nowhere has ver received 5 star from me. This is however 4 plus, for what u would expect of a 3 star hotel.
Location: Good location.
Approx 20 mins walk to main roundabout, but very pleasant. Pleasantly surprised by standards overall of this 3 star hotel. Location main prom, and road is now one way therefore less traffic, less noise.

Fantastic location opposite beach

Posted Sep 25, 2016
Pros: Fantastic staff Buffet varied throughout week Entertainment available here or at nearby sister hotel Mostly older adults
Cons: If you want slightly larger rooms , by all accounts better food but not as happy staff then stay at Uyal a more expensive sister hotel
Location: 20 min from centre but glad, quieter and larger beach area A lovely walk along prom to centre Bars and restaurants nearby
Our first visit but will return to this lovely resort and excellent hotel

Great location opposite sandy beach. Short walk into town where there is a large choice of restaurants. Staff very helpful, bar is reasonably priced. Only front facing rooms have a balcony. Hairdryer has to be loaned from reception. Rooms thorougly cleaned every day. Breakfast is very nice. Tea, coffee, juice, cereal, yogurt, toast, fry up and cakes etc. Pool area is good with beds. Would definitely return.
