Ideally situated for a city break

Posted May 19, 2017
Pros: Bright, clean and traditional
Location: Situated in the centre of Palma just 2 minutes from main shopping street/area and 2 minutes from Santa Catalina, the place to be in the evenings.
Hotel is very welcoming and staff are pleasant and efficient. Ideal location for main centre of Palma and Santa Catalina area with many bars and restaurants. Possibly best for a few days city break rather than a sunbathing holiday as there is no outdoor relaxation area. Extremely large and very comfortable beds which is always a good thing. Large, bright and airy room. Would stay here again.

Lovely hotel in Santa Catalina area. The municipal market is 4 minutes walk away and you can have an authentic Spanish experience buying pintxos and great coffee for breakfast at a reasonable price.

Business trip to shipyards of Palma

Posted Apr 27, 2017
Pros: Breakfast
Location: Very close to restaurants, and Palma tourist attractions. Convenient for shipyards too.
Comfortable room, but the street side rooms are noisy as the hotel is by a busy road junction. Breakfast is great.

Stunning Hotel

Posted Dec 11, 2016
Pros: Everything
Cons: It would have been nice to see more people making use of the hotel in the evening, perhaps sitting having a drink or something to eat.
Location: Great location, close to most places
Just returned from a four night break in this hotel. Absolutely stunning hotel from start to finish, immaculately clean. We had a huge room with huge bathroom overlooking the street to the side of the hotel. Hotel sits at the junction of two fairly busy streets so yes, there was traffic noise but it didn't bother us. Breakfast was excellent with plenty of choice with fruit and pastries, cereals, cold meats, cheeses and also cooked items. There was also the choice of a glass of bubbly with breakfast. Staff were also extremely friendly and helpful. We had a great break and I'm sure we will be back to do it all again.

Ideal for City Centre.

Posted Oct 16, 2016
Pros: The location. The hotel was clean and comfortable.
Cons: A shame they had no outside space for guests to sit out. Not even a small roof terrace.
Location: It's great for seeing the City. No car required. The best city restaurants all within waling distance. Public transport is great.
Excellent hotel in City Centre. A shame it has no outside space what so ever.

Very quiet, very clean and spacious

Posted Oct 6, 2016
Pros: .
Cons: .
Location: .
Lovely rooms but most rooms appear to be twin beds and not doubles but they were able to change our room the following morning. Worth contacting the hotel prior to arrival. Easy access to local buses and therefore no problem getting to the train station. Palma is an easy walking and fascinating city and hotel well situated. Minutes away from a pedestrianised road full of restuarants in which we enjoyed our evening meal most nights. Hotel staff very helpful and all spoke good English. Sauna, steamroom and jacuzzi all very clean. Would recommend.

Very pleasant stay at the Continental

Posted Sep 18, 2016 on Hotels
Good hotel a few minutes walk from the main shopping area. Lovely staff and very spacious and airy hotel. Our bedroom had a small balcony and a huge bedroom and very big bathroom. Stayed in the Jamie III last year which was slightly nearer but breakfast there was a bun fight as the dining area is very small compared to the Continental. If you want to eat out, Carrer de la Fabrica is only a few minutes walk from the Continental and is a pedestrianised street full of lovely places to eat and some nice trendy tapas bars. Not the poshest hotel in town but great for the price.

Posted Sep 18, 2016
Pros: Decor, cleanliness and staff. Convenience to restaurants, bars and bus routes.
Cons: Soundproofing in the room needs to be improved to cut down on some of the traffic noise.
Location: location ticked all the boxes. Restaurants, bars gelateria and excellent shops very close
Really enjoyed the smart surroundings and lovely friendly helpful staff. Very good breakfast buffet.
