Ideal Location
I stayed here from 2nd-9th October. I stayed at another JS Hotel in May that was ok but the food was not the best. However, the JS Miramar is excellent. Reception staff were all very helpful and friendly, particularly Jonathan who was very welcoming and helpful in organising me a room that I had asked about. The positioning of the Hotel is superb, right on the beach front, very relaxing listening to the waves crashing in from my room. For me a perfect base to get to the tramuntana mountains by bike which was my main reason for visiting, I was out every day. There is a secure storage room for bikes in the basement. The food quality was very good with lots of choice, restaurant and kitchen staff very helpful and provided a speedy service. I would definitely stay here again

The hotel is right at the beach which is its best feature. With 3 stars hotels you cannot expect wonders, so all in all, a very pleasant stay.

Really good, recommended if good Wifi isn't a must
We both really liked the hotel and the room. Room was clean and comfortable overall despite the slightly dated decor and nowhere near enough power points. The breakfast was great too - lots of choices, though because we stayed for 2 weeks, towards the end we felt it was getting a bit repetitive. My main issue was the wifi - it was REALLY slow, even though I specifically asked for a room with good wifi and there was no other option, no surcharge for better internet and not even sim cards in Can Picafort. Smaller nuisances were things like: - coat hanger constantly falling off in the cupboard - beds and mattresses sliding around a bit. Overall the staff was really nice (especially Viola the cleaner - thanks!). For some reason, reception staff kept speaking German to us several times, even after we established that we don't speak it but we didn't notice any of the "they only like you if you're German" sentiment from some other reviews. The breakfast team made a few odd moves, such as: - told us off for getting our own cutlery even though there wasn't any on the table, - told us to go out and have breakfast on the balcony at 10.10am and then locking us out at 10.30 when people inside could still finish their meals, - didn't replenish the water/juice and/or clean glasses within 5-10 minutes meaning there was no water available, etc. Small things but at this price point I expected a bit better.

Absolutely perfect.
Absolutely immaculate hotel with fantastic staff. Food was out of this world, service was attentive, but not overly so. And as for the location, well, it doesn't get any better than this hotel. And as a bonus, breakfast is served from 0730 and my pick up to the airport was at 0645 but the guy on reception showed me to the restaurant where a cold buffet awaited me as well as coffee, fresh juice etc. This will be the first hotel I look at booking if i return to thus resort. Well do to all involved.

The hotel was a really good option and brilliant value for money The staff were helpful and very present - reception staff very polite I only had Breakfast in the hotel, not any other meals - which was reasonable and simple. Staff were on hand to help guests at this time The air conditioning had water dripping from it during my stay and when I raised the issue with reception, they got someone to fix it almost immediately Rooms were simple but good, and the location is faultless - along the beach but in a quiet location. The resort as a whole is quite quiet to compare it to other majorca resorts - so not much hotel entertainment at night - so depends what you are looking for. I thought it was a good thing, as the bars and restaurants were nice and not too packed. Pool in hotel wasn't something I used and doesn't get a lot of sun early in day - but being right on the beach - this wasn't really a problem (although could be if you have kids that like their pool fun!) The main hotel lobby felt spacious and there was a lovely sea breeze in the snack area during the day Would definitely return - and such good value for money.

Great little hotel with fantastic staff
The hotel is in an excellent location, slightly to the far end of the resort but right on the beach. On checkin the staff were welcoming and very friendly, as were all staff throughout the stay. Pedro on reception and barman Fran were exceptional and nothing was too much trouble. The hotel is basic but very clean and it offers lots of choice at breakfast. The pool area is small and very shaded until late afternoon so we spent most of our time on the beach where there are lots of loungers to hire. The resort it's self has plenty going on but not roudy, with most places closing by 1am. Prices varied from 1.50 to 3.50 for a pint depending on where you went and food is very reasonable too. I don't often go back to the same place but I would definitely stay at this resort and hotel again.

Check in took a really long time as the guy on the desk tried to make me pay for my 'paid in full' room again, wasn't happy about this! He also talked over us to serve the people behind us in the reception desk queue while dealing with us which I thought was a little rude. Other than that good stay. Location brilliant!

Das Hotel ist sehr in die Jahre gekommen und die Zimmer sind dringend Renovierungsbedürftig. Trotzdem ist es sehr sauber und das Personal ist sehr freundlich.

Im Ganzen war es ein netter Aufenthalt, mit gutem und abwechslungsreichen, frischen Essen aber der Service war schlecht. Unfreundliches Personal im Restaurant, nicht sehr hilfreiches Personal an der Rezeption, man musste sich selber um Informationen bemühen z.B. für Shuttlebusservice was eigentlich übers Hotel laufen sollte aber die Kommunikation nicht so gut miteinander geklappt hat und uns nicht weitergeholfen werden konnte. Im Restaurant wurden überpünktlich die Türen geschlossen auch wenn man noch am Essen war und bis man mit Getränken bedient wurde war man öfters schon etwas länger da und am Essen.

Das Hotel wurde fuer 2 Tage gebucht. 1 Zimmer eingeschraenkter Meerblick, Balkon, Halbpension. Reise Grund war Business / Vacation Kontakt Aufnahme per Telefon zu dem Hotel war leider eine Katastrophe. Es ging jemand zwar drann aber wurde direkt wieder aufgelegt, ab und zu einfach der Hoerer bei Seite gelegt. Im Hotel angekommen, habe ich das direkt der Rezeption mitgeteilt. Leider konnte man sich das nicht erklaeren. Der Check In ging schnell. Das Zimmer war im 4. Stock, leider ganz hinten. Der eingeschraenkter Meerblick war so mit mehr als wirklich eingeschraenkt. Hier haette ich mir doch lieber weiter vorne, wie in den Bilder angeben ist, ein Zimmer gewuenscht. Die Klima Anlage funktionierte nicht wirklich, zumindest musste diese schon Stunden laufen, damit es einiger Maßen etwas ertraeglich ist. Die Einrichtung war alt aber funktional. Das Breakfast war ein Buffet. Es war reichlich und auch fuer jeden etwas dabei. Auch war immer alles sehr frisch. So konnte man sich als Sportler auch ein gesundes Breakfast zusammen stellen. Am Abend gab es ebenfalls ein Buffet. Es war sehr abwechslungsreich aber Standart. Gestoert hat mich, dass der Speisesaal total ueberlaufen war. Man kam an sein zugewiesenen Tisch zurueck, saßen schon neue Leute oder wurde alles weg geraeumt. Man musste dann warten. Fuer Kurz Aufenthalte ohne Ansprueche zu empfehlen aber eher in der Nebensaison.

Lieben Dank für das Lob an unsere Küche. Unsere Frühstücksbuffetauswahl ist abwechslungsreich und wird täglich frisch zubereitet. Wir bieten z.B. Müsli, Jogurt, frisches Obst, Rührei, Spiegelei, gekochte Eier, Croissants, Brot, Brötchen, Speck, Würstchen, Wurst, Käse, belegte Brote. Unser Frühstück wird von unseren Gästen sehr oft gelobt. Schön, dass wir auch Ihre Geschmacksrichtung damit getroffen haben. Es ist jedoch enttäuschend zu lesen, dass Sie mit Ihrem Zimmer nicht zufrieden waren und sehr schade, dass Sie nicht gefragt haben, ob es noch ein Zimmer in dieser Kategorie gab, als Sie bei uns waren. Sollten Sie uns wieder einmal besuchen, kommen Sie bitte während Ihres Aufenthaltes mit sämtlichen Anliegen direkt auf uns zu. Hôtel bien situé au pied de la mer et proche de toutes les commodités. Une équipe sympathique, présente pour toute demande mais sans être oppressante. Le mobilier des chambres mériterait une rénovation. La direction est joviale et entièrement a l'écoute des clients et aide son équipe en cas de besoin. Bref, un bel hotel pour un classement de 3 etoiles
