This hotel was well set up for families with small children. The staff organised many activities in the day with some good shows in the evening. There were plenty of sun loungers and the hotel was convenient for local shops, restaurants etc....

Hi, the location of Azul is fantastic - right near the beach and beautiful restaurants by the beach at Puerto Pollensa. The staff at Azul are great but this hotel wasn’t really for us, but that doesn’t mean to say it isn’t right for others. There are tons of activities and entertainment for families who love that but we like it quieter. The main issue for us is the pool isn’t big enough for the complex and unless your towel is on a sun bed at 8am, forget getting a space. I think the hotel should stop this happening as we only swam in the pool twice all week and went to a friends pool instead.

Stayed for 6 nights half board at the end of April. We have stayed at several hotels in pollenca and this is by far the best location. The room was lovely and clean and the staff were all fantastic but I would have to say I didn’t think the food was good compared to other hotels. I would definitely stay here again but would be room only or bed and breakfast.

The hotel was lovely, plenty of sun beds at any time of the day. The pools were very nice, and clean. Room was spacious, and had great air conditioning. Fridge, Kettle etc Again clean. The staff were very friendly, and the food was fabulous, so much choice! Would definitely go back there.

A good family trip
The hotel is ideal for families. A nice pool area and inflatables allowed which is nice. The animations teams does a decent job throughout the day and at the nightly minidisco. The kids (5&7) loved it. Buffet at breakfast and dinner was good. Sufficient choice that will keep most happy. Quality was decent if not gourmet. Only two blocks or a few minutes stroll to the promenade/beach/restaurants if you want a change of scenery.

Very clean, very convenient location - 2 mins walk from promenade, plenty of variety at buffet and used plates cleared quickly. Good room layout. Worked really well for us s as d our 2 teenagers. Liked the mix of couples, families and friends and fact it’s not just English guests.

Meets expectations
Lovely warm and friendly welcome by Angela Room sadly was not pool facing but was spacious and comfy enough Shame no kitchenette Breakfast had a good spread Kids club seemed great for the kids as was the evening disco. Evening entertainment for adults was great (and im def not the sort to like that sort of thing)

The first thing to mention is the staff here are just lovely and work so very hard. They provide an excellent service with a smile every day, so happy and cheery. Especially the ladies in the restaurant in the mornings and evening. Please, give them praise! The hotel was clean and it was a nice looking modern hotel all in all. The amenities were good, breakfast was ideal and dinner in the evening was perfectly fine for a small hotel. It was lovely and quiet when we visited which helped. During our stay we were informed by a guest that there were some problems with some children and guests at the hotel getting ear infections which they believed to be from the pool. This made us anxious about being in the pool so we mostly went to the beach but the hotel seemed to do all they could to ensure this wasn’t a problem with the pool and reassured us very well. After an initial review on check in, the hotel manager came to speak to us about our review to ensure we were happy. Room was nice and I thought it was a lovely touch that they provided masks in your room for you. Very helpful!! The only criticism I could give was the beds in the main room were fine (neither hard or particularly comfy) however the sofa beds for the kids were not great. The manager said he hadn’t heard this before and plenty of kids stay there, but for us they were hard and there was a lot of metal around the sides of the bed which my 3 year old hurt her leg on when trying to climb up on the first day.

Great place to stay with the family. Rooms and other facilities are ok. Staff is very nice and helpful. We booked on the half board option and food was good and there was a good variety of meals, especially for a dinner. We stayed a week and there were different meals to choose from every evening. The hotel is close to the beach, shops and many restaurants. I highly recommend this hotel.

The rooms were spacious and clean, but rather bare. The staff were very friendly and helpful, especially Mario on reception. The pool is lovely with a fenced section for little ones and plenty of sunbeams. We especially enjoyed the adults only terrace. The food was delicious with a great choice at dinner.

The staff were all so helpful and friendly. My husband is in a wheelchair, and every day they helped push the chair up ramps - nothing was too much trouble for them.

OK hotel with a nice pool and great location. Uninspired service. Only allowed one keycard per unit. Difficult for a family because you need a keycard to keep the lights on. Cheap room towels and no pool towels offered. Nice buffet breakfast. Stay away from the food at the poolside bar.

Great hotel & staff, modern and close to the beach
We booked a last minute 3 night stay at Puerto Azul and it was fantastic. We arrived an hour before check-in and our room was ready - a great size for 3 adults (and would also have been fine for 4 adults). The hotel was always spotless and the staff very friendly and helpful. Rooms were modern and spacious. The pool was a good size with options for everyone from tiny babies to adults, loads of sun beds no matter what time of day you get there. There was an impressive selection at breakfast - breads/fruit/cooked/continental - all help yourself. We had a late flight home and were given access to a room so that we could store our cases and shower at the end of the day before leaving. A short walk gets you to the beach - it really is only about 150m - close enough to nip back to the hotel to use the bathroom if you spend the day at the beach. Our only improvement would be to have tea/coffee in the rooms and a few more sun shades by the pool

Stayed for 11 nights in Oct 15,5th time to Puerto Pollensa, however 1st time at the Puerto Azul, have to say this with out a doubt is definitely our favourite place to stay, from 1st to last day,everything was superb, staff,food, cleanliness and fab customer service. We would definitely recommend the Puerto Azul Suites and we look forward to returning in May 16

Nice clean comfortable hotel with a good pool.
The pool is excellent and the hotel is within a few minutes walk of the beach, pine walk and the town centre. The staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel has plainly been refurbished very recently and all furniture, flooring, etc has a "brand new" appearance. It is rated 3-star but I would rate it closer to 4-star. My one criticism is regarding the TV in the rooms. Many guests complained of the same problem. Reception of the British channels invariably fails after 6 pm. Also, only BBC1 and BBC2 (other than news channels) are available. Why are ITV and CH 4 not available? I noticed, too, that it is BBC1 NI and BBC2 NI. These are the Northern Ireland regional channels (I am from Northern Ireland myself). Surely BBC1 and BBC2 London are transmitted with a stronger signal?

Well positioned, close to beach, friendly hotel.
This hotel is well positioned to include nearby beach, pinewoods walk and local facilities. Good clean pool with quiet music and good poolside bar and food facilities. Meals are about what you would expect for this grade of hotel with little queuing for anything. Rooms are all recently renovated and include everything you need (Except for an electric kettle!) A fridge is also supplied with hairdryer and walk in shower. All in all a good value well positioned hotel, our second visit and we will be back.

Great family hotel within easy reach all amenities
This is our second visit to this hotel and we had a pleasant week. It is definitely a family orientated hotel and sometimes the entertainment was a bit hit and miss, but all the staff work really hard. The room was very clean and still fresh looking after the refurb a couple of years ago - we did have an issue with the shower flooding the bathroom if you spent more than a couple of minutes init, but we learnt quickly to have very fast showers!! The food was your typical buffet fayre - we always found something to eat but I don't think the food was as good as last year. Puerto pollensa itself is a lovely resort - we've been there several times and wouldn't hesitate to go back but may try a different hotel next time.

This was our second visit to Puerto Azul Hotel and we will be returning. Staff were great, very friendly. The rooms smart and clean - cleaned every day. The food was good and varied. Overall a lovely hotel.

My wife and I stayed with our 19 month old son in May 2015, we had a fantastic stay at the Puerto Azul Suite Hotel, the rooms were modern and very clean and staff were excellent. It's a really child friendly place. As this is Half Board the restaurant only opens at 6.30 PM each night which was a little late for us, but I'm sure wouldn't be a problem for most people. The food was varied and good quality for both Breakfast and Evening meal. The location was excellent, convenient for local shops and 3 minute walk to the amazing Beach and Restaurants. My only complaint was the evening entertainment (just not needed), which could be very loud and went on till around 10.30\11.00. I would definitely stay again.
