The hotel was very beautiful, very relaxing with stunning views. The bedroom was spacious with a large balcony area facing the pool and the house keeping team worked very hard each day to clean it. Staff were very attentive and helpful.
One area for improvement would be the food service. Stayed half board, and on the first night the steak took more than 40mins to arrive. Service in the restaurant seemed very slow despite it being almost empty. But service improved later on. On the other hand, the Thai restaurant was busy, beautiful decor and food incredible, definitely worth the visit.
Also the dinner a la carte menu could have been more varied, maybe a new special each day. Ordered room service and the club sandwiches were burnt. Fedback to the service manager who seemed keen to address these issues. Would also say that we didn’t particularly find the buffet breakfast enjoyable - crowds of people each morning, and items weren’t topped up regularly eg orange juice stations and smoothies. However great selection of food, omelette stations and staff coordinating the tables smoothly.
All in all, a pleasant trip, with the room itself and the hotel property being the star of the show.
