Nice hotel close to bars and restaurants

Posted May 27, 2017
Pros: Good location, nice breakfast, clean rooms.
Cons: Air conditioning poor, didn't work.
Location: Lots of bars and restaurants close by, easy to get around
Hotel was nice, breakfast goocd, however could not get air conditioning to work properly all week, stuck on 24 degrees, despite complaining every day. Had a late flight time on final day, charge for use of courtesy "room" which is just a shower and toilet at a cost of €20 for 30 minutes left a bad taste.

Good position to Centre of town.

Bathroom had no extractor fan so when showering had to open a window. Fridge was poor, couldn't get air con to work properly. Fairly dark room at rear, no view. Reception area and restaurant were good.

Nice hotel, close to tour stop and restaurants!

Clean & spacious, only down side was temperature of shower - either really hot or lukewarm. Reception were really friendly. Good variety at breakfast except coffee always tasted a little bitter - no major issues, overall great stay!

Great hotel in a great location

Posted Apr 6, 2017
Great hotel, friendly staff and clean, big modern rooms. We were on top floor and had a great view of the bay. There was some building work going on a few days while we were there but it didn't bother us as we were up anyway. Good choice at breakfast and they make fresh omelettes on request. Hotel off the Main Street so quiet but close to many bus stops, bars and restaurants. Would stay again. Top tip: buses are very busy so make sure you have more than one bus route up ur sleeve. It's fine once you get used to the buses. Popeye village is amazing to visit.

Clean, quiet hotel near St Julian's amenities

Posted Apr 3, 2017
We traveled as four adults at the end of March and had a very enjoyable holiday. The rooms were better than expected (two king beds to make twins) and the staff were extremely helpful in every sense. We arranged airport transfer with the hotel too and this was very straightforward. I would definitely recommend the Argento as it's a good location with easy links to Sliema and Valletta.

Good hotel in St Julian's with good bus connection

The rooms were spotless, the breakfast very good. The only thing negative issues were the very small and dishcloth thin towels and very poor quality pillows.
