I loved this hotel and the staff. We were treated like royalty. I have never experienced the hospitality from a hotel staff like I did at Westin. Great location! Easy walk to shops and restaurants! I will definitely stay at the Westin again.

Had a fantastic holiday at the Corinthia Palace. We stayed for a fortnight and for the duration of the holiday the service never failed to impress. Our room was large, quiet and very comfortable. Everything was exceptionally clean and I'm fussy about that sort of stuff! We used all the restaurants bar the Rickshaw and the food and wine was delicious in every one. Some of the decor and furnishings are a little dated, but this wasn't an issue for me at all as I was after somewhere with a little character. Hotel bus courtesy service was useful and efficient.

Hop on hop off buses only travel in a one direction loop. This is fine if you have an entire day to travel from bus stop to bus stop, but if you have multiple things on your agenda, these buses will waste a lot of your time.

The hotel is exactly as you see on the website, so what you see is what you get. What you get is a charming, tranquil friendly base for exploring Valletta.
We had a warm welcome at reception and were shown to our room, Araba, which was just off the small courtyard where you can have breakfast. The room was air-conditioned which was a godsend and had a de-humidifier so was very comfortable. The bed was comfortable and lighting sufficient - to read by, do hair by etc. Bathroom was fine - the opening door was an issue as you had to manoeuvre around it so helped if you were stick thin. The solution to this would be have the door open outwards. The tub chairs were purely decorative as no use to sit on. The room was clean - if a little dusty but that is down to the nature of the island - everywhere is dusty.
Breakfast was plentiful - some people would moan about little choice, but when at home how much choice to you have - toast and cereal everyday? Everything was presented well, really fresh and topped up regularly. The small room was air-conditioned - a bonus. We love to eat outside, but it was just too oppressive in the courtyard as the heat was trapped.
The staff - we encountered a total of 3 - were more than helpful, really friendly and made us feel welcome and had no issue asking questions or advice.
The hotel is just outside of the nucleus of the town so is quiet, peaceful and tranquil. It is only however a 5 minute walk to the town and the sites.

Just returned from a week at the Preluna Hotel. The hotel was clean and the staff generally friendly and helpful. It is a little tired and could probably do with updating, the air conditioning in bedrooms was particularly noisy and although there was a fridge in the room, it was hardly efficient. I presume it was a mini-bar at one stage but couldn't keep milk in it for more than a day. Can't comment on the food as we had bed only. The hotel is situation in a busy location on the main coast road around the island and the local bars/restaurants are not particularly inspiring if you are looking for good food, but if you like, pasta, pizza and burgers then that is fine.

We were originally offered room 402 which we declined as the balcony was recessed and close to one of the bars. We were extremely impressed with the level of service and the facilities offered by the Hilton Malta; it is a proper 5 star resort.
Although I enjoy a continental breakfast when abroad the "full English" was the best I've sampled overseas with proper bacon and sausages. The overall options available would satisfy all tastes.
The staff were extremely friendly, helpful and efficient; requests were carried out instantly.
We were sorely disappointed with the island of Malta; mostly it is a barren lump of over developed limestone with little of interest and very beige. This resort made the holiday. I would recommend the hotel but not the destination.

We stayed here for a week, room was spotless! Staff are very polite & very helpful. The drinks and meals were very reasonably priced. The two guys serving in the Penny Black bar were great fun & both had a terrific sense of humour! The rooftop pool facilities were good (the view was amazing!) with plenty of sun loungers. Only downside was the pool was freezing but the indoor pool was great. The room we had on the 5th floor was lovely and quiet. Only downside was a bit difficult to find without a sat nav and poor street signs! ( not the hotels fault!!!) Would stay here if we came back and would definitely recommend.
