The property was spacious, had everything we needed and a nice help yourself breakfast where you get a choice of eggs, toast, pastries, meats and drinks which a refilled very quickly. The balcony was a good size and useful for drying off kit. The bus stop with the route through from the harbour to Victoria stops right outside. The property is part of two buildings both with pools. The room itself was really good and I would have put a higher score if the shower head was replaced for a better one and the curtains were more sturdy maybe on rings over a pole as they felt like the would fall down if we opened them. A dive shop was right next to the property which would be ideal if you wanted to dive from there and we were recommended them by the dive company we used on the main island. Nice to haves would have been things like a safe, iron and hairdryer in the room.

Great if you are looking for somewhere as a base to visit around the island. It’s position is very central. It is quiet and peaceful we made use of the pool a couple of times during the week but there are good beaches very nearby. Great shower facilities and good air con. Great view from balcony nice area for a quiet G&T at the start of the evening. Plenty of eateries within easy reach

We liked our stay here. The room was very large but basic which is all we needed. The pool was nice as well. Breakfast was lovely and the host family very nice. It was easy to get around on the bus stop right outside the hotel

Two week stay
From the moment we arrived, we found the staff to be friendly and helpful, but also empathetic for our wish for quiet. The room was always spotless and breakfast choices were changed daily to keep them interesting. We had lunch one day which was delicious, but there was no availability for an evening meal. It was easy to get to using the regular buses and there are a selectiin of food shopes and restaurants within 10 mins walk. This is not a boutique hotel, but a relaxed family run venue and the pool was just perfect. We would return.

Quiet, Clean with friendly helpful staff
Owners very friendly. I booked double bed by mistake, they very kindly upgraded us free of charge to the family room with two bedrooms. Air conditioned. Clean. More than adequate for needing somewhere to stay. Would recommend a car so you can get around.

Good value basic apartment. Be prepared to walk around as check-in is at one location, the apartment is a few blocks away and if you need to leave luggage it's a third location. Lockers are free and helpful to explore the area while you wait to check in at 2pm (no sooner). Location is close to waterfront and ferry to Valletta.

I booked online, but upon arrival they said our booking was cancelled, which I never did or received any notification of this occurring. After multiple attempts which trying to confirm the payment, it did go through. They gave us a room which was nice. There was a table to sit at, supplies for cooking and eating, a small balcony to view farm land. Since we traveled in the off season there wasn't anything open in town except one food truck and one store. They are located directly on the bus route and that made it easy for transportation.

The hotel has all that is required and is value for money.it is 10 minutes from Victoria and has a nice back patio with clean swimming pool.The breakfast is ok and there is a choice of egg dishes.The room is kept clean and the staff are ok.

We stayed for one night in February. It was a bit cold but that may have been due to the high ceilings, large room and only one heater. The bathroom looked new and was spotless. There was a kitchenette as well which we were not expecting. Breakfast was decent with eggs cooked to order. I imagine it would be a great place to stay in the summer with the pool and large outside area. I would happily come back to stay as it was very good value for money.

Very friendly staf and family hotel. Our room was next to a very noisy road with heavy trafic 24 hours a day. The cleannesswas ok but we think the room didnt have been rented out for weeks. The surrounding area was a an area were there was craftsmen working on new buildings.

Przyjemny hotel z basenem i widokiem na rotundę
Hotel przyjemny, wyposażony we wszystko co potrzebne. Niestety z powodu covid opustoszały. Bardzo podobałao mi się patio z basenem i wspaniałym widokiem na Kościół św. Jana Chrzciciela.

Familjärt och trevligt
Perfek läget för utflykter på ön Gozo., ligger på nära avstånd till Victoria (Rabat) där Citadellet är värt ett besök, bussar som går nära hotellet till buss stationen i Victoria där knutpunkten är för bussarna. Mycket vänlig personal och ägare! Ett litet hotell med mycket charm. På morgonen serveras frukosten i restaurangen då man får personlig service med olika önskemål på äggrätter, mycket trevligt i stället för att det ligger och blir ofräscht på buffen. Ett stort rum med plats för fem personer och kylskåp, vattenkokare och micro. Tyvärr väsnades aircondition ganska mycket.

案外良いロケーション！フェリーターミナルとかヴィクトリアの中間あたり
301のバス亭が至近で意外と便利なロケーション。元日（1/1）の午後は、4時間ほど全ての公共交通機関が運休していたが、自家用車でフェリーターミナルまで迎えに来てくれた。 シェウキーヤ教会、クラフトビールのＬＣやSAVINAも徒歩圏内。 朝食はシンプルな卵料理が美味しい。 部屋の灯りが少し暗いのがマイナス点。 コスト面での優位性も高く、ゴゾの宿泊にお勧めのB&Bです。

Ciao, Grazzie per I vostri commenti favorevoli e ci fa piacere di sapere che siete stati contenti. Il tipo dell mobilli sono tipo country essendo nel centro della isola e nella campagnia. Forse sembrano di questo tipo antico ma questo tipo e molto popolare come nelle vecchie fattorie che sono trasformati in case di vaganza. Vi ringrazzio di nuovo e la prossima volta chiedete per le camera modern con abbiliagmento moderno come camera 9 e 10. Tanti saluti di nuovo e molte grazzie. Frankie Magro

Te duur voor het wat geboden wordt, verder ok
Op zich is deze B&B wel ok maar de prijs is echt te hoog in het voorseizoen. Wifi werkte alleen op de vertrekochtend! Bij aankomst gemeld dat wifi niet werkte maar is niks aan gedaan. Te weinig wisselgeld teruggegeven bij afrekenen (niet veel maar toch). Toeristenbelasting voor kind van 12 in rekening gebracht terwijl dat ook niet hoeft in Malta (niet veel maar toch), tv had alleen 3 kanalen en dan nog Italiaanse ! maar dat gaf niet want we waren niet gekomen om tv te kijken, koelkast staat in de slaapruimte en is zeer oud en verroest en maakt erg veel herrie waardoor we hem 's nachts maar hebben uitgezet om te kunnen slapen. Boiler is maar 50 liter en is niet in te stellen en staat afgesteld op nog niet eens half, voor een 4 persoons-kamer. Niet iedereen kan douchen dus en zeker niet in bad (er was een ligbad). Bovendien is er in warmere perioden een salmonella risico met een zo laag ingestelde boiler. Het restaurant en de "aula" was gesloten gedurende ons verblijf. Ondanks dat het een bed & breakfast is moet je voor het ontbijt nog apart betalen. De kerkklok gaat op zondagochtend om een uur of 4 ! bengelen. De eigenaar was niet onaardig maar heel gastvrij was hij ook niet. De keuken is zonder kookgelegenheid. De kamer was redelijk schoon. Uitzicht is mooi. Dichtbij is Lidl en centrum van Victoria. Voor het gebodene is de prijs te hoog in vergelijking met andere accommodatie op Malta.

Holidays in Gozo
Franki, the owner of the hotel, was a lovely gay. Help us in all. The hotel is good and the location is also good. I LOVE GOZO and the time that I spent there. Franki also has a company, Barbarossa, with many trips around the island.We did it and it was amazing. I will like to repeat the experience.

für kurze Aufenthalte zu empfehlen, bei mehr als 7 Tagen würde ich ein Hotel auf Malta bevorzugen (Fähre und Busse im 45min Takt, wobei die Busse unzuverlässig sind)

Il Mariblu si trova nel paese di Xewkjia. Il B&B è gestito da due persone Frank e Maria, molto gentili e disponibili, entrambi parlano italiano, la struttura si divide in due edifici, nell'edificio principale è sito il ristorante, l'ufficio e una piscina con piccolo giardino. Nel ristorante vengono consumate le colazioni al mattino, di tipo continentale, a pranzo fa ristorante vero e proprio con specialità di cucina gozitana e italiana, a pagamento. In un altro edificio, una tipica casa maltese,vi sono site le camere, disposte al piano terra e al primo piano. Al piano terra,è a disposizione dei clienti che scelgono la formula di Self Catering,un'ampia e comoda cucina con tavolo,un piccolo cortile, con una piccola piscina, dà l'accesso ad un edificio con 4 camere. Al piano superiore vi sono le camere, queste sono ampie, dotate di letto doppio, televisione,aria condizionata e ventilatore su soffitto a pale,angolo cottura e bagno con doccia. La dotazione è di 2 asciugamani da doccia che vengono cambiati ogni 2 giorni mentre è quotidiana la pulizia della camera. Nella dotazione del bagno vi sono shampoo e saponette per le mani.La chiave della camera va portata sempre dietro quando si esce dalla struttura. La gestione mette a disposizione la possibilità di prenotare escursioni sull'isola e un centro diving adiacente dà gli appoggi necessari per le immersioni subacquee.

Trængte til fred og afslapning. der var roligt i den afdeling hvor mit værelse lå. Værelset var mørkt og med kun et vindue i en gang. Møblerne var ved at falde fra hinanden, og værelset virkede ikke indbydende.

Good points: A cozy, airly land-view site. A beautiful church locates 7min by walk, and a grocery store next to the church. You can find many local, distinctive foods there (roads towards the church & shop is also beautiful and rural-typical looks). A pool locates 1st floor was open 9:00-19:00, with confortable chairs. Best to spend a relax time after breakfast. Drawbacks: In terms of surrounding area (and shops), owners didn't provide information enough. By chance, I found a cozy restraunt (approx. 20 min by walk. has various fresh-fish dishes) next to Lidl (German-based discount supermaket) but they didn't mention it. Just said "you can find restraurants on this way and this way" but you can hardly find restaurants nearby. Air-conditioner was too strong. I was about to catch a cold (too hot if stopped, then difficulit to sleep). The room number was "1". The potional 1-day tour to safari & marine, conducted by owners' chid, which they recommended was started 90mins later (10:30) and 1 hour earlier (16:00). That means it was a degraded tour. We can stopped by few sight-seeing points briefly, costs 60 euro per person.

Miserable and horrible place in the middle of nowhere. I don't really know who's writing these glorifying reviews, but it was experience You surely can miss. We spent there like 15 min, gave to hotel owner 20,00 EUR for inconvenience, but later on were charged as for stay (nice!). So why didn't we stay. In the August no conditioner!!! Well it is in the room, but can be called more like a "butafori". First time in my whole life saw bed linen worn off so much. Pool picture must be taken with convex lens so it looks so much bigger than it is in fact. Refrigerator in room with rust or what was it (I'm not sure and don't want to be). So, save Yourselves some moments of disappointment and Your money!!! Do not go there!

Supertrevliga ägare, fantastisk liten resturang, mysig stad men inte så mycket andra resturanger eller turister. Familjen som äger gästhuset annordnar också både prisvärda båt och jeepturer. Luftkonditioneringen kostar extra och rummen är inte av den högsta standarden men helt klart prisvärt. Vi hade en fantastisk tid där och skulle absolut boka detta gästhus igen!
