Great location

Pros: Very nice room, great restaurant and food, bar was very good with polite waiters and waitresses. Made to feel welcome as soon as we got there.
Location: Good location, Great bars and restaurants near by , also close to the beach
Lovely hotel,staff helpful and friendly. Very good location,Our daughter loved the outdoor swimming pool, We also enjoyed the breakfast every morning. The room was very clean,and we were not kept awake at night by outside noise,

I had a fantastic time. The restaurant on the top floor has an amazing view.

Spa experience spoiled by sales pitch

Pros: Food in the TemptAsian restaurant was excellent but pity you cannot book a window seat as the views are amazing.
Good couples massage but spoiled by sales pitch at the end to buy products we did not want. Hotel was good but not five star standard.

Great hotel in a great location.

Pros: The fact that it is adjoined to the Victoria Hotel gives 3 bars and restaurant's, indoor and out door pools. The roof top restaurant is amazing.
Cons: Not the best cocktails in the world.
This hotel exceeded my expectations. The room [447] was a large irregular shape due to the hotel design but the interior layout was well designed. There was a large wardrobe/dressing table/tea station that gave easy access to everything, including the safe! [so many hotels hide the safe at the bottom of a wardrobe making it difficult to use]. The room had a view across to Valletta from the balcony. The location is good with many restaurants within a 5-10 minute walk. Also within the area is the ferry to Valletta [e1.50 return!]

Good location for walking to the centre of Sliema

Pros: The location and the cleanliness of the hotel
Cons: Perhaps a little more communication with staff in relation to benefits for certain residents I.e. Expedia elite residents as this is a VIP access hote
Location: Shopping, eating, tours, the harbour.
My stay at this hotel was comfortable and pleasant so much so that I am checked in again on 13/5/17 for one week. We also ate in the cafe in the hotel which was very nice. When I checked in I was upgraded due to my Expedia elite status and thus being a VIP access hotel. Due to this status I should also have received a free beverage however I was not offered this and when I enquired with a member of the reception staff I was advised the beverage was the free water in the room. I did not think this was the case as the water was part of the upgrade and I duly intimated this in my first review from Expedia. The manager of the hotel rectified this immediately and offered my husband and I a complementary bottle of rose wine. Hopefully Expedia will email the Palace prior to my next stay to enable my upgrade . Thank you the Palace it was a lovely stay.

Lovely hotel

Pros: Rooms were comfy and clean. Huge beds. Staff really friendly and professional.
Cons: Had trouble with the key card each time I tried to get into my room. It was quickly sorted by reception staff each time but bit of a hassle.
Location: Cafe Mint. Really good home made food catering everyone including for vegan, gluten free.
Stayed here before and after the Malta marathon. Very comfortable hotel. Near to the finish of the marathon and easy walking distance to bars and restaurants.

Location good for Malta Marathon transport/Sliema

First impression of the hotel from the foyer was good-modern, smart and welcoming. Stayed in a Junior Suite on 6th floor. Good sized terrace with sitting and lounging chairs and excellent view over rooftops towards Valletta. However, the room was small, bathroom was tiny and the furniture and furnishings were drab and possibly needed refurbishing. The gym, indoor pool,sauna and steam room were too small for size of hotel and especially as they were shared with the 4star hotel next door and possibly with local gym members. Access to these areas was via a dirty corridor. There was a problem with the water supply which lasted a full day and no communication from staff concerning this. The water supply resumed with black then dark yellow water for quite a few hours. Sounds of scraping furniture from room above became annoying especially in the early hours. "Bathroom noises" were audible from adjacent room. The good points - position of hotel excellent for Sliema Ferries. Staff were polite. Breakfast selection was very good and food and beverages from the Talk of the Town were also very good

A great base to see Malta

There was a warm welcome on arrival and the room impressed with its spacious feel. Our fifth floor room was a superior one and had a balcony with fantastic views, to the left of Sliema's north coast and to the right Valletta and Manoel Island, there was always something to see. The decor was ok, the walls and ceiling were painted white, room was clean if not spotless, some surfaces were dusty. The bed making could be improved. We had dinner at the Asian restaurant on the 9th floor and found it to be excellent and we ate there again during our stay. We opted for breakfast which was varied and plentiful if a bit mass produced in style. The staff were helpful and generally easy to find. We had a car and there was parking under the hotel at 2 euros a day which was probably essential bearing in mind the lack of street parking. The location was about a ten minute walk from the coast, in both directions. The street was not too busy and I was pleased to be away from the noise and traffic by the waterside.

We stayed b&b the breakfast was excellent. First time in Malta was really impressed and will return with a longer stay

Very enjoyable last minute break

Pros: Very good atmosphere, and lots of facilities although we did not use many.
Cons: Nothing
Location: The very to Valetta is a short distance as to are very good bus links. There are lots of restaurants.
The hotel is very accessible to good transport links. The room was spotless, Never been to Malta before, so much to do, The staff were very helpful every one had a smile.☺☺☺☺
