5/5 Excellent

Great place to stay while exploring the eastern Sierras
We went in may 2021, using this place as our base camp as we set out on day adventures around the eastern Sierras. Even spent a whole day just in the condo to appreciate the game loft room and the hot tub. Would recommend.

Great summer Mammoth rental
Loved the treetop view! Great hiking and fishing in area creeks and lakes.

4/5 Good

condo was diffficuult to find
The kitchen was in in disarray and all of the dishes/coffee cups in the cupboard dirty. There were too few bath towel for 8 guests. We had to use pool towels and then launder our own bath towels/pool towels. Hot tub was green.

Location, location, location!
We stayed here over Presidents Day weekend and skied 3 days on the mountain. The unit is nice but the location cannot be beat. Gear up after breakfast, walk 100 feet or so and you are at the bridge which puts you on the Bridges run and you ski down to Eagle Express lift and at the end of the day finding the condo building and bridge back is easy to spot from the run. Three bathrooms was a treat and the loft with the game table and shuffle-board were a big hit. The complex jacuzzi is one floor down and was clean and worth the trek. There is a jacuzzi on the deck in the unit but we did not use it. The kitchen is well supplied with utensils, plates, pans and such. There were some condiments and spices there as well. A couple of the pans may need to be updated but overall everything was usable and we did eat almost all meals in the unit. The unit is on the 3rd floor and the vaulted ceilings give a nice ambiance as the view of the valley is awesome! The elevator was fast and helpful for unloading on arrival and departure. Only issue we had was with the garage ceiling clearance. It is 6’ 10”. We did arrive with 2 large SUVs with roof racks and the 6’10” clearance did not allow us to pass into the garage without first removing the gear on the roof and for one truck lowering the suspension pressure. Other than that the garage and parking were fine. Would definitely stay here again!

Beware the Hot Tub!
We just rented the unit over the 4th of July weekend. My son woke up this morning with folliculitis, a bacterial infection from not properly maintaining the hot tub. Here's the definition from Wikipedia; Hot-tub folliculitis is caused by the bacterium Pseudomonas aeruginosa. The folliculitis usually occurs after sitting in a hot tub that was not properly cleaned before use. Symptoms are found around the body parts that sit in the hot tub: the legs, hips, chest, buttocks, and surrounding areas. Symptoms are amplified around regions that were covered by wet clothing, such as bathing suits. I contacted management and they have claimed no responsibility and stated the hot tub is to be used "at your own risk" and that it's maintained before and after every renter. Obviously, if it was maintained properly my son would not have contracted the rash. I thought I would let others know before you decide to rent this condo. Other than the hot tub, the condo suited us well and we enjoyed our stay. I think the owner should find a new property manager.
