"Wonderful Hotel"
When I first arrived there were no valet attendants around so there was quite a bit of waiting to get my car parked. I later overheard some of the staff talking about someone being out sick so it didn't seem to fair to get upset. Every other pickup/drop-off from valet had been seamless and the staff was very friendly and helpful. Plus, valet is free! Not sure if it's for hotel guests only but it's definitely a nice perk. Check-in was fast and easy, they even upgraded my room and sent me up with a glass of champagne. The hotel was very clean and comfortable and made my trip much more enjoyable. I highly recommend the Westin to any travelers coming to the Mammoth area.

"Very lovely hotel"
The staff here were so friendly and helpful. The condominium we stayed in was very clean and full of amenities, with ample space. Good parking, and good local amenities. Vons supermarket (3-5 min drive) is an excellent place to get groceries. I would definitely stay here again and recommend to all.

"Great location"
Loved the location, however, our condo was extremely dated and lacking amenities I would expect. The furniture in the bedrooms was mostly broken - none of the dresser worked, with drawers falling off their runners. The bedding was way past it's expiration - cold comforters and old, thin blankets. The living room furniture was uncomfortable and the lighting was terrible. The entryway lacked appropriate hooks and storage for winter gear - ski holders, jacket hooks, boot mats, etc. And the bathrooms and kitchen were functional, but really dated. They could certainly make some improvements to this particular condo that would make the stay much more comfortable.

"Quiet hotel for summer visits with friendly staff."
This is great for a peaceful stay at a well-priced 2 bedroom condo. Best for families and couples looking for a quiet summer get away. The front desk was helpful with boating recommendations for a day on Lake Mary (short drive away). This place is a little laid back: the room wasn't ready when we arrived (4pm), but everybody there was very friendly and helpful, really making you feel at home. It's easy to relax. Last summer we stayed at the "Village at Mammoth," so this review is a comparison of the two resorts: The Village at Mammoth has a much nicer pool and is over restaurants and a few shops - but you may have to tolerate music from the bar in your room all afternoon, and all evening, and well into the night... and you need to fight for parking and wait in long lines to check-in. We decided to try Juniper Springs instead this summer and were not disappointed. Pre-kids, Juniper Springs would be a little too quiet. Post-kids, Juniper Springs is just right. You can open the windows to the balconies and listen to the quiet at night as you watch bats zip around ... or the sounds of birds in the morning. Probably as close as you can get to camping from a condo. The pool at Juniper Springs was a disappointment: far smaller than I'd expected and was closed for resurfacing. They did offer us a key to an adjacent facility pool and spa, but we decided not to go (too cold coming back from the spa all that way!)

"Nice enough"
Room was small but pleasant. There was a filthy fan left on a desk which we promptly put out of sight but that was the only negative thing to comment on really. Breakfast was nice and had a lovely selection. The location of this hotel was great, we had plenty around us to do and loved our stay in the area.

"Nice comfortable hotel"
Stayed one night. Enjoyed the facilities. This hotel is over 2 hours from Yosemite center. It took us 3 hours because the road was quite windy.
