A good business hotel with great staff & services!

Pros: Staff, food, cleanliness
Cons: Somewhere to purchase snacks & beverages
Location: An AMAZING restaurant at the "top of the mountain"! BEAUTIFUL views of Managua.
The hotel was nicer than expected, with good fitness equipment, excellent food and incredible staff. I was there for 6 nights, so it was a long business trip. But I was very comfortable there and enjoyed sitting out on the beautiful pool deck on the warm nights.

Great Location

Barcelo Hotel in Managua is my hotel of choice for price, hotel condition, amenities, and location. Staff is corteous. Rooms are comfortable, breakfast is great, and love the view from the pool. The hotel is close to the newest and greatest mall of the city with great restaurants, bars, and movie theaters. It is also within minutes to travel to south cities and natural attractions and more restaurants. Great location indeed!

Time for a renovation.

The hotel is past due for a renovation. The facility is dated. The location is okay. But, with the exception of the smoke filled casino next door, there's just nothing else nearby.

Good hotel

The checking in lady was mad the room are ok ,the breakfast was mediocre and i had to stand up to get my own water there was 6 people talking and makings jokes and not taking care of the customer for the price i will stay in the Hyatt better sorry no what i was waiting for

Use to be a good hotel, now lack the details.

They never understood that we were 3 in the room, no enough water, coffee nor TOWELS! Draining of the tub was bad as also the toilet, we had to call. The floor towel was available only the first day, then disappeared. Staff in general was very nice an responsive but you don't have to call for what is supposed to be there. Also towels and bedsheets were very old and deteriorated, I have pictures! The hotel appears as without any maintenance nor supervision since my last visit one year ago.

Cons: Wifi connection. Kept logging off every 5 mins
Over all nice staff. Rooms very clean. Beds are very comfortable. Wifi no great.

I stayed a week at this fine hotel. As an Expedia +VIP member, I actually received extras. I am frustrated with hotels that suggest benefits but offer nothing upon arrival. Barceló Managua delivered.
