Pros: Grounds, food, staff.
Cons: Amenities, room services, communication to guests
Location: Many advertised activities were closed or not staffed.
Beautiful grounds, nice comfortable accommodations but many amenities or facilities not available or closed due to low occupancy. Dining venue changed twice without prior notice. Food provided was varied and tasty. Staff was excellent.

Pool was not working.

The hotel stated that pool was going to be out of service until the 10th. I went on the 12th and the pool did not worked. If hotel would have disclosed that it was not going to be working I would have not gone. Please talk to the hotel and work some type of compensation, since I paid for something I didnt get.

Great Vacation in October 2016 at Montelimar

Pros: The grounds , the activities the night shows, the staff all were the best
Cons: we did not get to use the big pool as it was under construction
Location: We stayed at the hotel for 8 days ...we were not bored at all in fact we wish we can go back
I arrived in Montelimar on October 10th check in was quick and easy. I stayed in Bungalow 229 I was pleased it was beyond my expectations. I loved the bungalow and the hammock beds were so comfortable that i wish i could have them back home. Housekeeping is immaculate the grounds of the hotel are so beautiful. The crew works so hard day and night to keep the grounds clean. I ate all 8 days at the buffet. we loved the food every day it was great best desserts ever. Marlon from the dining room was very nice and kind. All the staff greets you with a smile and buen dias every day. we did mini golf, table tennis, tennis, and atv adventure. On a note big pool is under construction so we used the little pool. we left on the 18th check out quick and easy. We had a great time we did not leave the hotel for 8 days.

Very bad experience with broken toilet and phone

Not good it took a whole day for staff to acknowledge our concerns about the broken toilet and telephone that we had in our room with children we needed a phone and working toilet but it was ignored until we complained again the day after really not happy about that I don't recommend this resort apparently it used to be good

You get what you pay for.

My biggest issue with this property is the growing Nicaragua middle class that can now afford to go here. Some not all do not know basic social skills examples are cutting in line at buffet, letting teenagers run wild. Visited this resort 5 years ago, very different clientele. If I ever go back to Nicaragua will stay somewhere else.

Food was not the best. Specially in the snack area. Otherwise the rest of the wxperience was very relaxing and nice

Beautiful beach and nice green areas

Pros: Swimming pool are wonderful and there are many options. The jacuzzi however is not what is been advertised.
Cons: Work with staff not to steal from guests. WIFI is a must and I can't believe the charge per night as if WIFI is a guest. They are really far behind
Location: Location is fine.
Snacks bar opens half an hour prior to start of lunch. They should consider opening some time between the start of swimming pool use and lunch serving time. Lost items is an issue. Left my watch just to go to breakfast when I returned 45 min later it was gone. Staff seems to be very quick at grabbing items. Fortunately, I had left everything else in the safe except for the watch which I was meaning to wear. They really need to offer free WIFI which even the small, cheapest hotels do so now days.

all six in the group was sick, the food make us sick, the doctor has to trip us and give some medicine, we are not happy to stay in that hotel. i has to talk to human resort, to make them to pay for the doctor.

A lot of things have deteriorated

Not worth the money you pay. The towels were old and yellowish, the hotel was overcroweded, waited over 3 hrs just to get my room, i was offered internet access when i booked and instead was offered a $12 a day fee if i wanted it, which was very deceiving. The food was good, the staff courteous even though they have many restrictions to follow that do not allow them to help guests like me. Nany of times when i requested something my answer was "esta prohibido/it is not allowed for me to do for you" Dont think i will come back, especially if i pay a 4 star hotel and only get a 2 star experience. Things have definately deteriorated since my last stay
