"It was after midnight, I had been flying since 5am. I was starting to haul my luggage across the street, (Yes there’s a shuttle but I’m stubborn. It’s across the street.) I must have looked as wiped as I felt. A strapping young man who works at Las Mercedes, and was not actually at work yet insisted on getting my bags and getting me safely across. Then he tried to refuse a tip. 😆 (That didn’t work.)"
