Good accomodations in a quiet, safe location
I like the Hotel Internacional. I have stayed here multiple times and always choose it now inManagua for my brief business trips. The owners and staff are very nice and make you feel very at home. The hotel is very safe and quiet at night. The rooms are clean and maintained well. They serve an excellent fresh breakfast every morning and are glad to accommodate your preference. I really enjoy staying at the hotel because it is like a home away from home. The price is good for my budget, too.

Nice hotel walking distance to fine restaurants.
The owner and staff made you feel like home. Small staff, you get the attention that you need, and the true Spanish saying "My house is your house"

Quiet hotel near shoppine center
This is a kind of bare-bones place, but decent. The public areas do have some traditional Nicaraguan charm, but the rooms are pretty utilitarian. Staff was nice, altho they came in to clean before we had checked out. My main gripe is that it states clearly on the Expedia website (and Expedia agent confirmed) that the hotel had an airport shuttle. It did NOT.

If you are staying in Managua, stay somewhere else
This hotel was almost impossible to find. It took us over an hour to find from the airport and only after we asked 15 different people living in the area. Do not stay here if you have to drive. Breakfast was pretty bad. The beans were a few days old and were left out, making them stale (I actually didn't know beans could become stale, so that was interesting). There was construction in the surrounding area, making sleeping in past 7 am impossible.

Family Vacation Nicaragua 2K15
Had an amazing experience during our stay, I would highly recommend anyone traveling to Managua from abroad to stay here. The family atmosphere and great hospitality is unmatched by big names hotels prizes is reasonable cleanliness its 5*, centrally located in the middle of the city. A very big thank you to MR. Roberto and his great wife for treating our children like there own will always remember our stay here. ***********

Good hotel. I was there for work and was closeby to all my meetings. A little hard to find though, address should be updated or Google Maps provided. Overall, good breakfast, A/C worked fine (Managua is very hot).

Very Welcoming
We stayed here one night just before an early morning flight. We were greeted by a very friendly host who check us in and set up in our room. Our room was on the second floor (queen bed), we had an A/C and wifi- both which worked perfectly. Breakfast was included, however we had to leave for our flight before 7a when it was served. The hotel is very clean and secure. The gate closes at 10p and there is a guard there 24 hours a day. Our host also let us know where the closest restaurants were and the best way to get to the airport in the morning. We had a great experience.

Very nice hotel. Comfortable beds with very nice and clean bathroom. I was warmly greeted by the hotel owners, Gladys and her husband. Both whom made every effort for our hotel stay to be pleasant. My husband and I only stayed one night but we were pleased. The breakfast was included and filling.

Comfortable but simple
The hotel is quaint and the owners are lovely, but in general I felt that it was rather overpriced in comparison with other options: the room was OK - good beds, a/c, TV, but no frills (coffee, toiletries), and very dark - very little natural light. The breakfast was very basic and there was no buffet or choice. I also underestimated quite how far it is from downtown: taxis are needed and it's not really a walkable route.

Great for the price
The staff were very friendly and helpful, although the hotel seemed to be in an unusual location, we managed to get around the city of Managua just fine. The bed was a little too hard and there wasn't any hot water, which may seem like a small thing to complain about since it's a hot country, but I never feel clean after taking a cold shower. Despite the cold water, the breakfast was delicious and like I said, nice people.

Roberto is a true gem. I have never felt so welcomed and taking care of, whatever you needed he was there to help. The coffee was great. Breakfast was good. I had flight problems and he was there to help me out along the way and take part of the stress of traveling off my shoulders. Nicest guy I've ever meet! I travel solo and couldn't be more happy with my stay. I will be back :)

The hotel was great! Very clean and comfortable. The staff was super nice and helped set up a cab to take us to the airport the next day at 5am. I would definitely stay here again.

Last night in Nicaragua
The hotel was perfect for our last night in Nicaragua before flying to Honduras. The staff were very friendly and directed us to a nearby restaurant that had tasty ribs and cold beer. The room was clean and the TV had a few English channels. Even though we had to leave very early in the morning the owners were up to see us off (very sweet couple). They had arranged for our cab to the airport. The location is close to the main bus route (we bused in from Rivas) and easy to find.

My wife and I stayed at this hotel for two nights. The hotel is clean and the service is good. The downside is that there is too much noise coming in from the street and from inside the hotel. The phone at the reception is very loud and it rings late at night. The bed was a queen size so it is quite compact. It would be better if they had a king size. They are, however, very attentive to your needs, taxi service, breakfast, etc.. Our rating is probably a 3 star hotel.

Everyone who worked there was very nice and accommodating. If you stay here as a central point, make sure you get to Catarina, Leon and Granada!

Small but nice hotel
The hotel is a distance from the airport and is a bit difficult to find, but overall was a very nice place to stay during my time in Nicaragua. The staff is friendly, and the rooms are nice (if a bit spartan). I would certainly use the location again, and would recommend it to others.

Well the stay were great but they need to work on some conditions for example they had a old iron and i asked to borrow it, while using it i placed water in it for the steamer and all the iron did releasing pure dirty water and got over heated. The reason why i'm saying this is because the owner wanted to charge me a fee for something that was already not in condition..

THe owner is always at the reception, and take such god care of the hotel. Even when i was driving in a rental car, i could not find hotel, so he came to the gas station from which i called to lead me to the hotel . Breakfast is excellent local food, and parking is secure. Such a nice place. :)

Prefect Location for enjoying the city of Managua
Older hotel very well maintained/updated......Wonderful owner who really cares a lot about his guest's comforts! The hotel is old style Colonial with veranda's and balconies - a full inside covered 'court yard' with rocking chairs and seating areas. Parking is fully enclosed and secure.....Breakfast each morning was provided and cooked fresh for each guest in the morning! I really enjoyed my 5 nights there - including wonderful restaurants just down the street.......I'll would definitely stay there again!!

The owners and all employees were friendly and accommodating. They took care of our luggage, provided us with directions and restaurant recommendations, and watched over us during our stay. The breakfast was nice and the rooms were just what we needed. There is a grocery around the corner with everything you might need and a great restaurant down the street. Our cab drivers were also familiar with the location. The hotel felt safe, as there is a gated parking area in front and the staff are always present. We will definitely stay again if we find ourselves in Managua.

This is my third stay. There is a bakery across the street that serves pastries and coffees very inexpensive. There is a grocery store around the corner. I am a female that travels alone to Nicaragua. I feel safe there. It is good to email the hotel and request them to send a taxi for you at the airport cost is $20 tip included. There are about 50 taxi drivers vying for your business when you arrive on the curb. So this helps to arrange the taxi in advance. I have stayed in 3 separate rooms. #7 has no windows is in the back of the hotel not a pretty room, but the air conditioning is awesome in that room. It is very hot and humid so this was a plus. Room #22 is upstairs and in the from of the hotel pretty room but noisy due to street traffic. In Nicaragua they honk their horns if they're thinking of changing lanes. So being earplugs for that room. Room #2 downstairs I liked, but it is right in front of the front desk. Overall I like the hotel. The owner Mr. Roberto is extremely friendly and proud of his hotel. The Internet is free, but power in Nicaragua is sometimes hit or miss. There is a hotel computer that is available to use. This is the stormy season there lots of rain. It's a beautiful country.

Great Hotel for Families
This is a nice hotel, very clean, with extremely comfortable rooms. The staff, especially the owner, is very attentive. In fact, with the attentive owner, it is a bit like staying in your mother's home, with all the advantages and disadvantages that entails. This is a great hotel for families, not as good for businessmen, as there is sometimes a problem with the internet. There is one computer in the lobby that seems to work even when the wireless server doesn't connect to the outside. The hotel is in a convenient area (if there is such a thing in Managua), but is a bit difficult to find if you drive yourself. I doubt that one could do any better without paying much, much, more.

We were delayed with our flight and had a little problem finding our hotel, the gentleman in charge was kind enough to let us in at a very late hour and he really was a sweet heart and even offered us food, i would recommend this hotel, it was clean and cosy and breakfast was very fast and delicious, thank-you hope to see you again. Great Hotel in Managua.
The hotel is right off a busy avenue but luckly is located in a quiet street. There is a bakery right across the hotel that has different styles of coffees and crossaints and many pastries. There is also near the gas station (Petro Nica) a very inexpensive fast food restaurant call TIP TOP with many different styles of chicken it reminded me of KFC. I recommend that people try the appetizers such as Tostones(smashed platains) and Queso Frito ( White fried Cheese). Right next to Tip Top there is a supermarket call La Colonial it has many different things at very inexpensive prices, you can buy gallons of water if you skeptical about the quality of the water in Managua. The owner of the hotel -Roberto is very nice and accomodating, though it helps alot if you know some Spanish. The breakfast at the hotel was okay, its basically eggs (you can request it in any way that you like ), coffee, orange juice, white cheese, Gallo Pinto-rice mixed with beans, and platains in some different styles depending on the day. The WIFI at the hotel is fast and the best thing is free, there is also a computer that you can use in the lobby. The rooms are huge,very clean, and so is the bathroom. The only negatives about the room -no soap, no shampoo provided as in other hotels. I recommend that you take the optional tours to Granada and city tour of Managua.

I travel very extensively in central and south America so I am very used to the "norms" of hotels in these countries. I booked a stay here at the last minute due to a problem with my return flight. I ended up staying 2 nights here and I was very pleased. The staff were very friendly and made a point of greeting you. The breakfast (which was included with my room) was excellent. Everything was fresh and made quickly for me. The hotel is very quiet and really felt like a B&B that you might find in a small Vermont town...minus the Spanish culture and heat of Managua.LOL. I absolutely would stay here again. The only negative thing I could say was that my bathroom had a bad smell the first day but the next time they cleaned the room, the smell was gone. Often in these countries, I find that the AC does not cool adequately and WIFI (when free) is very slow. This was not the case here. The room could be set as cool as I wanted and the bandwidth was excellent. I could even stream video without issues. I will stay here again the next time I am in Managua.

Nice hotel at a reasonable price.
The owner and his staff went out of their way to accommodate us. The room was clean, nice, addequate, and reasonably priced. The breakfast was typical/traditional Nicaraguan and freshly made. There are only a few negatives. There is no elevator and we were on the second floor, so we had to haul our bags up and down (although the owner did try to help). There are only about 6 parking spaces and 22 rooms. At times, we got the last parking space, but since the hotel seemed empty on the days we were there, we never did without a parking space. The street outside is packed in the middle of the day on workdays and there is no left turn onto it from the nearby circle, so it's not that easy to get into or out of in the middle of the day (although the owner would try to stop traffic to let us back out of the parking lot).

The entire staff was very friendly and helpful. Great location close to everything including great restaurant a few steps away. Roberto, the owner is so nice and welcoming. He gave us a map of the city which was very helpful. The street is quiet at night but busy during the day. The room was very clean. The mattress was a little hard and no shampoo/conditioner were given. The hotel is really new but there is no pool which would have been nice. Overall, a great experience and we would stay again!

Everything in the hotel was very clean; the sheets, the bathroom, the furniture and the lobby. The staff was VERY courteous and helpful. I needed directions and Roberto went out of his way to print a detailed map with the highlighted route. The breakfast is fresh and delicious. There is free wi-fi and extended cable. I was very pleased with my stay at the hotel and it is definitely the place where I will stay for my next visit.
