Hotel outside Manama

Pros: The position 'out of town' made the hotel quieter. The staff made our stay very enjoyable and without any problem.
Cons: The rooms will need updating soon.
Location: The location was good being quieter than most. Apart from the hotel facilities, transport is required to reach attractions.
The Novotel is outside the high rise development of Manama and its architecture is more Arabic styled. All of the facilities that we used were fine and the staff were excellent. The room had a an older rather than feel to it, which suited us . it was very clean and comfortable. La Perle fish restaurant was first class with staff who knew all about the food. They offered us a selection of fish to share and we then asked them to cook it the way that they thought was best. The result was a memorable meal. All of the staff were very obliging from the pick up at the airport to being dropped back for our flight home.

Great shower and wifi!

It's close to the airport. They were great about late checkout (4pm). The breakfast buffet has a very good variety but is on the expensive side 10BD. The pool is very pretty and relaxing. The private beach is small but nice. Free wifi everywhere is very quick but unsecured. The street and hallway noises can be loud and bothersome

Nice hotel

Overall the hotel is nice.. Service is only OK.. we stayed there for two nights.. asked saveral times for hair dryer and during the entire two night they didn't manage to bring one.. eventhough it is not really a big deal but for a hotel not to manage such a small request we weren't impressed. This was our second stay in this hotel, I think it was our last.

Nice hotel

Good hotel restaurants extremely expensive price of foods and drinks very high for the 4 star hotel which has to be revised or lowered

Hidden costs

First cancellation was not free although lam sure it was written in green color font during reservation process Second the breakfast was not included and I have to pay for it. This also was not clear during the reservation

Won't stay here again

The hotel is a little older than I like. It wasn't completely awful, but we had to request serveral times for them to come and clean our room because we weren't ready to have it cleaned at there designated time. The towels used in the suites were really old and needed to be replaced. The staff was rude to some of the other guest who came with me. Not sure if it was a race thing or not, but the pool attendant just walked up and told them they had to pay to use the pool. No one else at the pool area was spoken to about paying and it became an issue. He didn't ask if they were staying just demanded that they pay for use of the pool. It took awhile for the hotel management to correct the issue and to issue an apology.

Awful customer service

Our booking included transportation from the airport if arrangements are made in advance. We made arrangements and provided our flight number. The hotel representatives did not wait for us to clear customers and retrieve our baggage and left. Upon calling the hotel we were informed we took too long after our flight landed and the representative left and there would be an additional charge if they came back to pick us up. Once we checked into the hotel, they wanted to charge us for two airport transport ion fees. Once we checked in, the bellman did not know where the room was located and walked us around the perimeter of the property, up and down some stairs, and eventually passed the room which was located on the ground floor.

Injoy two days in Bahrain

Pros: pool area was very nice.
Food not that great. Tub did not drain well and sewer smell in bathroom. Asked front desk to address this which was not fixed during stay. I departed early.

Good location and resort but...

Pros: Resort is lovely but no space at pool.
Cons: Staff were short and stressed out when asked the simplest of requests
Location: Great location for Dubai I'm sure service is better when they are not overstretched
It was a busy weekend so staff were not very helpful. Card stopped working and we knew it would take a long time to rectify so we spent the last few hours without working AC. Was prompted to leave before check out time even though it was quite clear previously
