OK hotel

Posted Mar 14, 2017
Pros: good location
Cons: cleanliness
Location: lots of restaurants near by and in a nice neighborhood.
The hotel was alright. The hotel staff seemed pretty friendly. One of the cleaning ladies helped me open my door since there was a tick to getting the door open which included lots of force. I felt like the room was not as clean as it could have been. The TV control was covered in some sort of gunk that I had to clean off and still didn't want to touch. I felt like I could hear everything that was going on inside other peoples rooms and outside. Walls were pretty thin. The bed was fine and for the price I paid it was alright but I expected much better.

Disappointing Stay

Posted Jan 24, 2017
Pros: The good location in old downtown area of the city.
Cons: Mostly if improved has to definitely be in the area of hotel personnel. To be train in their right attitude to deal directly with guests (public).
Location: This specific location about Manassas Town is very convenient. At a walking distance you can visit some stores, shops, train station, visitor's center
Olde Town Inn Hotel is located in a nice, beautiful area of old Manassas town in Virginia since old days of the American civil war. Its architecture date back to those old days and it shows special attractive glamour. People usually is nice and friendly. Unfortunately personnel at this hotel isn't. They have an attitude toward attending guests that looks very detach and dry. Very uncooperative to give or to suggest basic information related to places to visit, transportation shuttle services to airports or other areas. Very poor rack of booklets containing information to get to know town. If you really need shuttle services or local cab phone numbers you have to go either to the Tourist Information Center or to go nearby to the office of Manassas train station to get information regarding type of transportation in the city. Also be aware that in such hotel some phone numbers listed on a directory booklet in the room are a hassle because they are outdated or no longer in service. It would be a good advice before you book in a hotel to find out if that place has sound information regarding places to visit and reliable local shuttle transportation services.

Old town bar hopping

Back to the old neighborhood and it is always changing. Great to stay right in town at an affordable rate.. Great restaurants and shops right outside your door. Very professional staff and well kept rooms.

Near the airport and restaurants walking distance!

The room was clean and affordable, great location-- A Philadelphia themed bar with good food is exactly 1 block away, and there are several other restaurants within 3-4 blocks. Less than 30 min from Dulles.
