"I see why others mention the neighborhood, but although there are some properties that are questionable we felt safe and the neighborhood was quiet. If you plan to cook during your stay, there are not many options for cooking pans/utensils. So bring casserole dishes, a frying pan if you prefer “non Teflon” type. There aren’t items like tin foil, plastic wrap or zip locks either. These are not complaints however, just informative for the next person. It would be nice if there were TVs in each room but we made it work. No fans in the rooms either, again just a note. Overall it was spacious and the outdoor area was nice and somewhat secluded and private. The place was clean and beds were comfortable."

Super comfortable beds and a delicious fine dining steak house right in the building. The grounds are stunning with peacocks, bamboo and a stunning fountain with seating all around. I couldn’t believe how good of a deal the Putnam Lodge. If I could give 10/5 stars!!!!!!!"
