Property is connected to a small mall which is nice. But property is noisy!! The Carnival celebrations were loud and went into the early mornings. The rooms on G3 and 3rd floor not real good. Seem smaller. Need to be updated.
18th floor room was nice. Room service was prompt. Transportation pickup confused most Uber drivers.
I loved that there were a couple malls within walking distance including one next door with a food court. The staff made us a to go breakfast since we had an early flight the next morning. The beds were ok for a night or 2.
Best hotel to stay in Manaus,
the shopping mall is right on it, with a supermarket, pharmacy, various restaurants with good food, bakery, and other stores.
The breakfast is delicious.
Look for king size bed rooms, they are amazingly comfortable.
This was our second stay. We were there 3 days earlier and returned after a boat tour. What a downward change in service. WARNING: Building can use a renovation. I don’t think corporate is putting money into the building. Hallway lights are sketchy. Sauna doesn’t work. Other issues. Most importantly, we had no maid service. Even after calling the front desk. Finally I called for mop and broom and cleaned the room myself. Have pictures to show but not what I want to do in vacation. At checkout, receptionist acknowledged the lack of service but offered NO compensation or discounts. She actually charged my card for water and drinks out of the minibar.
Outstanding staff (the first 3 days of our stay. No maid service or compensation the two days after our Amazon boat return). On this leg of our trip, we had outstanding service but the hotel can use a full upgrade. You can really tell corporate has not put any money back into the property. Shaky elevators, plumbing issues, dark hallways. The only plus is the workers.
I don’t want to be too hard on this hotel, because, like everyone in this industry, they are struggling. The location of this hotel is great. Really optimum for getting around Manaus and next door to a nice shopping mall with everything you need. The biggest mark against them is hot water. This has been a problem every time we have stayed here. It is really something they need to get under control. There is no excuse for a hotel like this to have this problem consistently. From hour to hour, you cannot predict if you will have hot water or not. We had absolutely no hot water the last day and a half of this stay. The staff does what they can to make your stay comfortable, and they are generally very friendly and English is spoken readily at the front desk. There is a canal next to the hotel that is currently quite smelly at night (no problem during the day). But this is no problem inside the rooms or even on the balconies.
Hotel staff very attentive and helpful. Breakfast didn't have much selection but it was good. Overall room was spacious, a/c worked fine, no carpet through the hotel 👍, & shower could use more scrubbing.
Not so good. Staff is not friendly and we requested 3 days in advance through hotel.com to help us canceling one room and the hotel refused to cancel it and refund the money. No other hotel has done this to us. Though great location and amenities.
When i arrived at night it was dark the lobby entrance, the check in front desk also was dark like if they were saving electricity. When we got off the elevator the AC was off in the hall way with a strange smell. Once we arrived to our room it was not the premium room I had reserved and payed over $200 US dollars for, our bed was not a king size, the bathroom door was broken and had no lock, our shower had cold water for two days and we even reported it to the staff and the ignored our complains. One lady spoke English well and she ignored our complaints she said they would sent maintenance to fix our issue and she never did. The safe was not installed in our room it was a mission to get the safe installed. The safe was supposed to come with our room. The review from Expedia did not match our room I was extremely dissatisfied , also we had trouble with our key card and had to report it to the front desk. It was as if the room was not prepared for the guest staying.
