Pleasant comfortable relaxing Bed and Breakfast

Posted Nov 16, 2015
Pros: Old time quality woodwork and furniture, nice owners, quiet, comfortable, out in the country away from the city hustle.
Cons: My wife would like more shelf or storage space for all her make-up, beauty accessories, and clothes.
Location: There is a small park a few hundred feet away with a walking path that goes down along a river behind the B&B and ends up in town nearby the B&B
The rooms are beautiful and comfortable, each one is different, not the cookie cutter rooms of hotel chains. Manawa is a nice little country town and the house architecture is historic and truly lovely. There is a wide veranda porch with rockers facing south so you can watch the sunrise and sunset. Judy is personable, always ready for a laugh, and knowledgeable about the town and surrounding area, so ask her questions. The tourist sites of the Chain 'O Lakes are 10 minutes away. Their is also a small kitchen on the second floor with a refrigerator in case you need to store food or heat up some left overs, and a table in the hallway with all kinds of drinks and snacks anytime. Breakfast in the morning downstairs. Judy, Tim, and Tom are fantastic hosts, marvelous chefs, and all-around fun. Normally I dislike traveling and hotels and prefer to stay home, but if every stay was as nice as this, I might get out more. If you are laid back and mature, you will like this. If you are looking to party all night and make noise stay away.
