On arrival staff very friendly on reception, quick and easy access to room. Restaurant very relaxing, we ordered food but we ordered thick cut chips from the menu to be served with cold French skinny fries. The lady who served us was extremely pleasant and explained none were left but heated up our fries and deducted them from our bill. After we returned from a local concert we asked to place a food order and were told in the bar we could only order from our room. We wanted to pay for some nuts but were told that the bar till had closed, that we couldn't charge it to our room, it basically took over 20 minutes to get this sorted with a lot of confusion and a very stroppy bar man, to a point where he clearly muttered to himself swearing under his breathe! Not very polite at all. We went to our room and ordered food, a pizza which arrived half cooked with no side plates nor napkins, we had to leave the plate of slop outside our room door overnight due to the smell. When we arrived for breakfast, they didn't have us recorded on the list as paid but that was soon sorted. Breakfast staff very helpful and friendly, nothing was too much trouble for them.
Overall the hotel is very clean and modern with good facilities. The room was clean apart from I did find some undesired hairs in the bathroom.
As soon as we arrived we loved the hotel and said we would return but unfortunately the main problem was the experience with the Bar Gentleman which ruined the stay at this hotel
