Perfectly located in the centre of the old banking district of Manchester, the Gotham is surrounded by stylish restaurants, bars and shops which take advantage of the amazing archectural elegance of this city's historic confidence and wealth. A prefect location and setting to for a get away treat. My only advise is the very best restaurants are very popular so take a look around and book before you go

This is a central hotel close to all the action, and minutes away from excellent shopping. The front of house staff were outstanding, including at the check in desk and the concierge. The hotel was clean and comfortable.

For the money this hotel is brilliant. Very centrally located and the staff are very friendly. The rooms are neat and tidy and clean. We read some of the other reviews before we came and to be honest I don't know what they were expecting from a hotel that is under £50 a night.

The hotel is in a quiet location close to shops and restaurants. Rooms are pretty spacious and clean but could do with a modern update (e.g. TV was quite slow and although you can insert a USB, you can't watch anything on it!) Staff are welcoming, knowledgable and will go out of their way to please/accommodate. The bed was particularly comfortable and we had a good nights sleep. Breakfast was nice in the morning but would have liked some of the other options available on the menu. Unfortunately there wasn't a menu on our table and we didn't realise there was one until after we'd eaten. Our stay included breakfast - not sure if the other breakfast items would have been an extra charge but the buffet stuff was included. Overall, a good stay and I would recommend this hotel.
