Close to all the places that we needed to go to...

Pros: Location
Cons: Fix the room heating unit.
Location: The BEST ! ! !
I was in the area for work, training class. So, that was within walking distance. The choices for places to eat were all whitin a short drive.

Clean Hotel but not a great stay

The woman that checked us in was wonderful, however when we returned to the hotel later that evening the young man working the front desk was sleeping on a cushion he had pulled up against the desk. The room across from us had a screaming child and two rooms down had a dog that barked non stop. When we turned the tv on before bed we discovered the tv didn't work and when we tried to call the front desk to check out the next morning we discovered the phone was not connected to anything, there was nothing to connect it to.

Business trip

Location: Very few restaurants nearby, and those available were high-carb choke-and-puke types.
I couldn't get the room warm enough. Breakfast nook crowed and filthy. Noisy patron drove me away for the rest of the week (she appeared to be conducting a person-to-person transaction and did not have a low, don't want to be overheard, voice.

Horrible hotel, stay across the street

Dirty Hotel but Location Made it Worth It.

Pros: Proximity to Boston. Friendly Staff. Decent cable tv.
Cons: Poor breakfast selection. Dirty bathroom. Nice staff, just gross rooms. Halls smelled like smoke.
Location: Boston is 30 mins away.

Great value with ease to Boston/Salem

I know it's a bit farther from Boston that most people would like, but the drive to Boston Harbor was 25-30 minutes. We tool the scenic route to Salem and that was only 35-40 minutes. It is tucked away in a quiet area but only 3-5 minutes from shopping and food. We loved it.

Renovations and No smoking hotel coming

The hallways stunk of cigarettes literally couldn't breath. The carpets were filthy in the halls better in the rooms. We had 2 rooms one was freezing the thermostat didn't work . The hotel staff were really helpful and came right up to figure out what was wrong. It turned out there was a light switch on the other side of the room at shin level that needed to be turned on for the heat to work. Apparently the hotel is having a major overhaul starting next week and will be a no smoking hotel starting this week. I hope its better after the update.
