You need to get real queen-sized beds. These "Hotel Queens" as your front desk agent put it are just full-sized beds. If you had a room with a king size and a kitchen, I'd stay there all the time.

Great location, clean, friendly staff, okay breakfast but there was a very loud noise that occurred any time water was used anywhere near us (I think) that would have kept me up all night had I not had my ear plugs.

First of all I arrived slightly early 1:45. I was told I could not check in. They offered to call me when the room was ready. I left and I eventually came back around 5. I was able to check in but I never got a call. The TV had a channel listing card but no guide. No guide on the remote or on any given channel. I could choose a channel but had no idea what was on the channel. I called the desk but nobody was able to help. After checking out I received an email receipt. I was surprised to find out I had been charged $60 to park my car at their facility I was never told there was a daily parking fee!!!!! Maybe I should have ridden my bicycle there. I hate companies that try to nickel and dime you. I will never stay at another Marriott Residence Inn. No thanks.

Worst experience in Hartford so far
I travel to Hartford periodically for work and have stayed in many area hotels. This was the worst by far! The hotel room was dirty, the floor felt filthy, the bed was lumpy and the mattress on the sofa bed was unusable. My daughter had to put the mattress on the floor in order to be able to use it at all. The windows were covered with plastic and the shower drain did not drain properly. Even though the webpage states parking is free I was charged 10 dollars per day for parking and even though the room was supposed to have a queen bed it was definitely a full.

I didn’t get the room I booked, specifically booked at this hotel for a one bedroom suite. They stuck me and my 5 year old granddaughter in a studio unit right next to the exit. Doors slammed all night, no separation so the 5 year old was up all night. NO sleep, awful.

Clean, good location; no allergen info for food.
It was clean and the location worked for me. I'm surprised that a national chain doesn't disclose what items on it's included breakfast are gluten-free. I was told at checkin that there were gluten-free muffins and cereal if you ask. I asked at breakfast and was told there is no such option. Noone knew if the egg option or sausage were gluten free.

A hotel guest above me dragged furniture around, banged their feet for hours - well past midnight. Began again at 5:45am. Front Desk asked them 6 times( I had to call repeatedly). The guest didn’t stop. Never Again. They had no control over their inconsiderate guest. I had to pay a lot of money to be unable to enjoy my stay. Many hotels in the area. This is one to avoid.

Very Disappointed!!!
Very disappointed. We checked in past midnight hoping to get a good rest after a long day. We were put on a room next to an exit door. By 6:00 am people started slamming the door each time they walked out. By 9:00 am when we thought we were finally going to get some rest and fell asleep again, housekeeping came knocking on our door and opened the door despite the DO NOT DISTURB SIGN being on the outdoor the door. The property is alright, but I am Very disappointed.

Just what we needed
Served its purpose for what we needed for the night. We like space so we would’ve needed up to upgrade if the family of 4 was staying long term (more than a week or two). Having separate living and sleeping space was great although it seemed hard to regulate the room temperature between the two rooms. The kitchen seemed good-well stocked, full size fridge, but the sink was oddly shallow. Breakfast was good, several catering domes of hot food, make your own waffles, and can be taken to your room and eaten in the breakfast area. Free slices pumpkin bread at check in was perfect for us cuz we were “starving” and needed to order dinner. The rooms are set up like an apartment building and the hallways very wide and well lit. Bed comfortable, kids didn’t complain about the sofa bed. Bathroom not well lit for us, sink outside bathroom which was convenient but surround was small for my taste in liking to spread out my stuff for morning. I didn’t trust the glass shelves on the wall to hold much. Service was great. I called ahead to ask for a grab bar near the toilet for my blind child and they accommodated. Check in took awhile bc the party in front of us was not very prepared on arrival. I waited probably 5 times longer to check in than it took me to do my own check in, not their fault but everything seems worse when you’re “starving”. I would stay there again. Easy enough to find off a major highway, area seemed safe to us, with several food options close by.

Our stay was very nice friendly employees and helpful. Our last night the people above us made a lot of noise kept waking us up. No other problems. Would definitely would stay again

Love it Here!!!
This is my second stay with this facility and they never disappoint. Nice, quiet, and clean! The staff is always super friendly, from Gary, the Front Desk Super to Gail, the Front Desk Associate. Whenever the need should arise again to rent a room, I will definitely choose, Marriott Residence Inn in Manchester, CT.

Customer service was great but the property was in dire condition. There was cockroach in the bedroom, kitchen floor was dirty and the bed was not made properly when we entered the room
