As a Hotels.com VIP member, we chose this hotel for the perks and proximity of its location. The perks were supposed to include a free bottle of wine and a free room upgrade, which we never received. The girl at the desk mentioned she was new and didn’t know what to do. Not her fault, for sure, but shouldn’t she have been trained on this? She didn’t even know about it. The hotel rooms seem to get more and more into disrepair every year we’ve stayed there. Peeling wallpaper, nasty air vents, and no hot water during one of the showers. Curtains were torn in spots and water stains on the ceiling.
We love the location and the overall feel of this hotel, and perhaps we got the one room that needs a little TLC, but it’s time to start upping your game or we will search for other accommodations for our next stay.
